Getting it done for January!

Incline walk on tm done! Still have XTrain on schedule for tonight. Now to shower and get ready for the day.

Morning all.

This week is my recovery week:D. I will try to go for a short walk and do some stretching. I also have to clean my floors.

Last night I took all the xmas decorations + tree down.

Sherry - I love using the elliptical. Yesterday my foot wasn't hurting like the last time....I did kept the workout short. The base is a 25-30 min away. Not to bad. I can't wait to use the TM in the gym. Like I said after the gym we go to the commisssary. LOL! Not sure if I want/need to buy an elliptical/TM as long as we use the gym? My rest day's looke like yours, LOL! Lots of rest we getting, hah?

Heidi - are you still sore? LOL! What are your plans today?

Anyway I walked the dogs yesterday and cleaned my house.


Today I will do some yoga and abs.

Hi all!

I decided to do XTrain Bi's and Tri's again last night. I wanted to print out the wo card and start over right, but couldn't get into the site last night either.

Woke up with a dry scratchy throat, so elected to get a bit more sleep instead of get in a run early. I'll do that tonight and some part of cardio leg blast - might need to look over the premixes.

Belinda - Enjoy your recovery week! You've earned it!

Heidi - Hope all is ok.

Yesterday was x-train burn sets for chest, back and shoulders. That was a good one!

Today I just finished CSS. Wow a great day burner for sure! :)

Off to work as usual.

Not going to attempt to enter my w/o's until they get things all set up for Xtrain. :)

Tomorrow I will do tri sets legs again.
Thurs: bi and tri
Friday: R 6.0 and abs from XT #2.

Hi all!

Just finished my run - 2 miles of intervals on the tm. Hoping to get in cardio leg blast, but we'll see how time works out. Head feeling better - taking a pharmacy, and it may all be placebo's, but it seems to be working so I'm going with it.

Sorry so short - just a stop by while cooking dinner. BBL!

Belinda - Did you enjoy that yoga and abs? Hope your foot is better this week with you taking it easier. Our dog would like a walk, but it's already getting dark when I get home. Poor thing.

Heidi - Glad you can keep joining us! I haven't done Burn Sets yet. The rotation you are doing sounds great. If I start having problems, I might switch, but so far I'm ok with the undulating rotation.

Now it is time to hit the sack. See you tomorrow.

Never got that yoga in yesterday:(. Since it's my recovery week, I wasn't sweating it:eek:, lol. I will give it anther try today? We shall see.

You girls kicking butt this week, good job!

Heidi - glad you liking this rotation. Still haven't decited which one I will do?? Need to open the book;)

Sherry - wtg this morning. We did went to the dog training for an 1:30 min. I was on my feet the entire time. I kinda taking it easy this week. Will kick butt next week.

Hi all!

Hard Strikes done! I used weighted gloves since I don't have boxing gloves, and just a little weight makes a big difference. I don't have DOMS yet, but we'll see about in the morning. ;)

Heidi - Food plans - ARGH! I try, but it is hard. I will say I've made a very concerted effort this week, and it's a lot of work. The holiday junk food is out of the house, and we're trying not to bring it back in. Tonight was tacos with ground turkey, tomorrow a roast in the crock pot. I did chicken in it the other day. Still working on keeping the meet moist. I've been looking through recipes from Cooking Light and even Eating for Life. And I subscribed to Clean Eating - waiting for that first issue to come. I think I'm doing ok on portions. I'm trying anyway.

Belinda - Enjoy your rest week - that's what you are supposed to do! dog training is a lot of work. I know our pup is a little more rambunctious lately since she's cooped up so much. It is getting lighter a bit longer every day, so soon we'll be back to daily walks.

Time to turn in. Looks like we all had a good one. Let's do it again tomorrow!

Sherry: Awesome job last night on Hard Strikes! How are those DOMS today? :)
It is hard keeping up with a good eating plan especially when you have other people to
cook for and their likes and dislikes of food choices. Great job doing what you can and using your crockpot! This time of year with all the running around it helps for sure.

Belinda: How are you doing today? Like Sherry said enjoy your rest days! :)

Sorry for not checking in yesterday. I was cleaning my house. I did take a nice long walk yesterday.

Today I will do some yoga. Not sure how much I will be around? We are moving DD to her new appartment. Tomorrow we will clean DD's apartment and Sunday is moving day.

Heidi - I agree with you 100% on a good eating plan. Good job with your workouts. I did a free yoga class from Amazon.com w/ Denise Austin. I was really suprised how good it was!

Sherry - how old is your puppy? They are a lot of work. I have 4 dogs, nut's hah? LOL

Today is cleaning DD's appartment. Tomorrow is moving day. Not looking forward to the next few days.

Hi all!

I finally got in a run - 2 miles of intervals. Now to get some stuff done around and for the house, like take Christmas lights down outside while it's warm and not raining. I do want to try to get in weight work, too. Will need to review my timesaver options.

Belinda - I'm sure you are feeling both :) and :( today. Good luck with both the cleaning and the move. We only have one dog - she's 5 and really easy going. We've thought about another, but she's so good . . . not sure we could handle it.

Heidi - What are you plans today? I do have to say the DOMs have been better than I expected. maybe I need to be pushing it harder. Other items on the weekend list include planning meals so we can use the crockpot more.

Hello Belinda and Sherry!

Sherry: Great job on your w/o's this weekend! :) I hear you on the busy days...Friday was just a walking workout on the TM. I made up for it on Saturday with S&G. Sweated buckets on that one!
Glad your DH could do the abs with ya too. What did he think of them? ;)

Belinda: Good luck with the move! I have been there with my Son and DD and it is hard work for sure.

Today I did another walking workout using itread #16 20min. It ended up being about 24min and went 1.5miles. After I did JM's Yoga Melt Down...now that was another good one!

Tomorrow I plan on Week 2 of my rotation. So it starts off with Disc 1 Chest, Back and Shoulder work.

So far so good on the eating and sticking to my workouts this week! :)

Have a great rest of the day! I am waiting for my DD to come over...we were going to take a walk but it looks like it will keep lightly raining at this point.
