Getting it done for January 2015

Happy New Year 2015 , everyone!!!

Hope you all had a safe and happy New Year 2015:D Can't believe it's already January! Time flies, doesn't it? What New Year Resolution did you make this year? I will try to work through all my giant workout dvd collection w/premixes. If the workout isn't for me, I will donate or give to someone that appreciate it. I also will do the same with the rest of my stuff that's been sitting around the house, that I never use. I will do better in not spending more money in workout dvd. Not sure, how that will work:p but I will will try. I want to try running again this year, I miss it. Eat heather and drink my water.


Today I will kick 2015 with RWH HiiT #1 I think.

I will go back and read yesterday's thread. I will be back later.
 
Good morning,

I ended up taking it easy yesterday, I did went for a long walk with the dogs. My fitbit gave a 45 min active minutes, we walked at a good pace. I had very little sleep.

Today is another cardio, not sure what I will do? And I will do SBF which have have no clue yet? LOL. I got almost 10.5 hours sleep:D can't remember the last time I slept that long? Needed that sleep.

DH and I went out for lunch. I just got my workout in. I did 21 Day Fix Total Body Cardio Fix, that one got my HR up. I was getting light headed right at the beginning :oops: had to take the intensity down a little. Besides that I had a great workout.

Where are you guys???

Today I will do XT SuperCuts and SBF. I finished SBF challenge, her new one will start next week. This week is whatever I want to do.

Morning Belinda and Sherry!

Very busy work week for me. Thursday we just stayed home and hung out. No big deal...

Workouts:
weds. RWH Plyo #2 and abs 2
Thurs. nothing
Friday: RWH circuit upper with abs 1

This morning:
Steady state run: 2 miles
Then a Studio Sweat bike/core workout. 25min and 8miles. I didn't do the whole hour...just didn't have the strength.

Now I am ready for a nap! LOL!

Belinda: Awesome job on your continued consistency on your workouts! I don't have any resolutions to report. I guess just get in walks/runs more often. Eat better for sure! Smile more! :) See people I haven't in a long time.
Yup with you on the piles of workout DVD's. Maybe use each at least once this year. LOL! :)

I hope that you are feeling better today. What do you think was the reason you were dizzy?

Good afternoon,

I am done with my workouts.

Heidi - Fantastic job on your continued consistency on your workouts! I like your resolution " smile more" need to remember that one. I think, my HR went up to fast with this workout. I do have heart problems. The first 5 min she had my HT sky high:eek: need to remember not to push so hard right away, her warm up was pretty intense too. Maybe it was my sinus? Not sure, really? Once my HR come down, I was fine.

Belinda: Great job getting it done today. ;) Good to keep your HR Monitor on to check your rate isn't too high. Exercise is great in strengthening the heart but be careful.

Missing Sherry. I hope she is doing ok. :/ Last I heard she had that cold/flu thing going on.

Tomorrow my plan is about the same as today. Bike and run. Then starting monday its back to RWH.

Hello! Busy Monday for me at work. No workouts just yet...my tummy is giving me issues today. I hope that I am not going to be sick or something. :/

No workout yesterday. Super exhausted! I did get out later in the day to take DH to get new sneaks. Then to dinner for our Anniversary belated.

Belinda: Awesome job on your workouts today and walk with your DH yesterday. :) Did you get snow or rain yesterday? We had rain most of the day but it was really warm. Day before was snow, sleet and slush. YUCK. Still have patches of snow here and there. This week is going to be very cold and blustery. So much for my plan on getting outdoors more often.

Any word on how our dear friend Sherry is doing??? :/

I forgot to mention I didn't do XT legs today, instead I did HiiT legs. Lots of familiar moves:oops: I did like the time line, under 45 min.

Heidi - we did get some rain last night and it was very windy. It's suppose to snow tomorrow:eek: Hope your tummy isn't giving you any problems. My stomach been crawling since a week now? Their is something going around. Happy Anniversary!! Maybe get some rest today. Hope you feel better.

Hi all!

Sorry to be MIA. Realized that I forgot to post that we were headed to see my brother new Chicago for the few days around New Years. Yesterday was spent getting DS ready to go back to school; semester already starts this week.

Today I did my first RWH wo - Legs - Youza! Feeling it good in the glutes. Rally struggled with the cardio near the end - my muscles just didn't have the umpf. I think I'm starting with the 1 month rotation, but still trying to figure out how to blend it with running and the trainer.

No dog walks here - the weather has been miserably cold. And icy. I joked that Sunday I had a choice to take down the outside lights in the morning when it was drizzling but still above freezing, or later in the day when it was snowing, or anytime this week when there'd be no precipitation but unbearably cold. I choose the morning with the drizzle. Lol!

Belinda - You are off to a great start this year with your wo's. Love your resolution about your wo library. Mine is to make my health a priority. It's good except for the weight, so I need to really need to be serious about it now; I'm not getting any younger.

Heidi - Are you still going to try to follow the RWH rotation? How are you fitting it in with your other wo's, including running?

Ok, getting back in the swing of things. Need to stay focused. Positive vibes to all of us! Catch ya tomorrow.

Well last night I did end up doing a walking workout on the TM from itread series. Good one!

This morning was RWH Chest, shoulders and triceps. PHEW!

Sherry: Nice job on the RWH legs!
Love these new workouts! Not so long that I end up bored and exhausted by the end.
I am currently following the Getting started rotation. On Week 3. It is a little mixed up for the reason I missed days here and there.
Tomorrow is the legs wo.
I still have Decorations to take down as well. Bitterly cold here. YUCK!
I am with you on getting back into eating better. Eating lousy I guess has really messed up my system. Feeling Blah lately and very crabby because of it. I find it particularly hard to cook good when the boys like bad foods like pizza, subs and fried food inparticular is a killer for me. Not sure if it is the flour or oil but boy am I paying for it! My weight has jumped up as well and I am not happy about that for sure!

So my goal is: Eat better and more fruits and veggies. More Water for sure! Get in at least 5 days of workouts from RWH in the morning. Run/walk or bike workouts in the evening when it is just a weight day. So like today I will do a bike/run workout this evening.
This plan should bring me back down and be stronger as well. Hopefully with more energy! Lacking in this area as well.

YUCK on the snow! It is just really cold here but I am sure we will be getting that snow soon as well. :/

I also did Jessica Smith Walk on:21 Day Cardio Core walk. That was fun! It's snowing outside, needed the Miami sunshine, lol!

Heidi - high fives on your workout today.It's very cold here too. We have lots of snow, didn't expected that anymore. I am so ready for summer. Love your new years resolution. We can do this.

That is it for me today. One more thing…I ordered Hallo Fresh on Groupon and got my fist delivery the end of Dec. Last week DH and I been cooking those 3 meal. All I can say "YUMMY". I think if you get the deal on Groupon for $20 for 3 meals that is a great price. You do have to pay $1 for their subscription. You do have to cancel right away or they will sent you or try to sent you another box the next week for $69. I did canceled my order after the holiday's and got an email they canceled my order but I would get another box Jan 8:eek: I sent them an not so nice email, telling them I do not want another box and if they sent one on Jan 8 I will dispute it with my credit card. Ten min later I got an email, telling me they canceled my subscription. They also offered me a $10 off coupon for the future. The meals are all 30 min from start to finish. Love food. The only complaint it wasn't enough for my husband, he likes to eat. But you can download all the recipes online. I picked a few for this week, heck it's only 30 min. And they are so good! My favorite was the salmon with the panko crust. If you want the recipe and can't find it let me know. I will post it here.

Hi all!

WO done. Tonight was Hiit 1 plus Abs 2. Loved them both, but I really think Cathe's evil streak is showing. Or I'm just that out of shape. Probably both. One of my coworkers - he does P90X when he does wo - was complaining right along with me that the holidays did us in. Today we were both in a bit of hurt from yesterday's wo's. Nice to have company in misery. However, he'll drop those holiday pounds like nothing.

Looks like the eating is the big key for all of us. Planning is my key - the menu for the week, then sticking with it and only it at the grocery store. I got Rachel Cosgrove's book at the library over the holidays but had to return in before I got a chance to read it. I've heard the nutrition advice is good. Maybe I should get it again.

Belinda - Nice job today. Glad you are enjoying XTrain - knew you would. I'll have to check out Hallo Fresh's recipes. The portions probably wouldn't be enough for my DH either. Just a few inches of snow here. It's the cold that's really bothering me - wind chill is way too much.

Heidi - Nice weights today. I agree - having the kids in the house just naturally brings in the bad food - though it shouldn't. I've been using the flavored water drops to drink more water. When I get my act together, I'll do the fruit more, but diong what I can with the time I have.
