Getting it done for January 2014!!!!

Hi all!

WO done - 1mile interval run then Hard Strikes. I've been wearing my weighted gloves doing it lately and I'm really feeling it in my shoulders. Plus, glutes are talking to me from yesterday, but nicely, kind of like "thank you" rather than "you tortured us".

No snow here, just very cold. Poor dog is hardly getting out. Hilight (?) of the day was my annual physical. Usual conversation with the doc - "you are very healthy so just lose the weight" (said the almost too skinny woman - she really needs to hit the weight room).

Belinda - you are doing great! After all that, you can put legs off until tomorrow, though sound like there's some ShovelMax in your plans, too.

Heidi - How are you doing? Still getting in runs?

Time to wind down for the night. Stay warm and catch ya at the gym tomorrow.
 
Hi all!

XT CBS completed. Arms are tired but not fried (still able to type).

I finally add MyFitnessPal to my phone so that I can track what I eat. You'd think I'd have done it already with all the complaining I do about my eating. I find it a bit tedious, but apparently tedious is what I need to get on track.

Last night I did STS D14 legs and P90X3.Accelerator. I was busy cleaning/organizing my son's room. DH and I will paint the bathroom on the second floor this weekend. What color is your bathroom? The old color is lavender, don't like it!

Today is P90X3 Pilates and maybe STS D15.

My ENT appointment isn't until Friday:eek: Not sure why, I thought it was on Wednesday:eek:

Sherry - I am on Myfitnesspal.com, I am bayerngirl over there:D My dogs missing those long walks too, it's to cold to walk them. Good job with your workouts.

Hi all!

WO done - 1 mile of interval sprints followed by XT Legs - floor and ball & chair. Thought my hamstrings were going to cramp on that one.

Kids finished finals today and now have a long weekend, in which they intend to rest. Thank goodness. They have really been stressed and driving us crazy.

Belinda - Great job on your wo's, as usual. Still amazed how you are doing both. XT has been enough for me right now. DH is done with his first 3 weeks and is on his "rest" week this week, though the yoga does him in pretty good. Had some trouble logging my lunch today on the phone app. I'll need to try it again, or reload.

Heidi - How are you doing?

Dinner time - DH made it so I could get my wo in. Stay warm and catch ya tomorrow.
 
Forgot to say - one bathroom on beige, one is a lit/med brown, and the last one is a french blue - works with the white tile and tub. Don't think I could handle lavender either.

Sherry - yeah, for finals! Now your kids can realx:D Good job on your leg workout yesterday. I don't use my phone to log into MFP, in the evening when we watch TV I log all my food. The phone app is confusing, JMO! I need to check out that French Blue!

Weds. was GS back, shoulders and biceps. OOOOH! Felt that right away after!

Thurs. Super busy workout day so no workout.

Fri. YEAH! Finally! Today I did the warmup from Flex Train premix #1. Then my Daily Hiit Challenge #4. Finished up with Flex Train Premix #1. PHEW! Still feeling my shoulders from weds. so went light on those for sure.

My days are sort of mixed so I am not following any rotation. Just doing what I feel like I am up for and also on time.

Good morning,

Sorry for not checking in yesterday. Yesterday I had two ENT doctors in (Walter Reed) did a Endoscopic Sinus Exam for Sinusitis. I had Endoscopic Sinus Exam done at least 100 times, it still get sweaty palms every time They looked at my CT scan, they a little worry about the swelling/air pockets on my right sinus. They put me on a month medication, than I have to get another CT scan in 4 weeks.

I never got a workout in yesterday. So today means I have to double up!

Heidi - you are on the roll with your workouts. Good for you. And thanks for asking about my doc appt.

Sherry - what are your plans today?

Sherry: How are you doing today? Is it any warmer there? We are at 34 right now but it is windy and due for snow again. YUCK!

Thanks Heidi! I hope my sinus infection clears up too. P90X3 is cardio workout and you hold one DB in your hand the entire time. Gets your HR up:D I burned 420 cal in 30 min, not bad! You are rocking your workouts, girl! WTG!

Well I am sure feeling my workouts from this week. PHEW! I guess today will be a short TM run. Everything needs a break for sure!

Belinda: Awesome job on your P90X3 workouts! The cardio sounds like it would give you a great cardio workout holding a weight for sure. Nice job on the yoga.

The program sounds good and tempting...but I have to stick to what I have. I have a lot of choices for sure and get confused trying to chose one. LOL!

Happy Sunday!

Friday was a rest day. I gave blood so that pretty much cancelled any activity for the rest of the day.

Yesterday I took advantage of the balmy weather (25*) to shovel (3") and also scrape the compacted tire treads off the driveway (with DS's help, too). That last part really worked me hard. Afterwards, I was wiped out (too much work after giving blood the day before?) and this morning my upper body was stiff. How would I log that for a wo?

Today already did 1 mile interval run followed by AOLI HiiT. I might try to get in XT B&T (yesterday's wo on the rotation) later today, if I still have the energy after groceries (already done), housework and laundry. Plus, we're getting another 2-3" today (DS shoveling round 1 now) and DD has a soccer game this afternoon.

Belinda - Hope the meds help. A month is a long time to be on them. Great job on doubling up on P90X3 today. Are you noticing significant toning since you started?

Heidi - You are doing great on wo's. How do you like Flextrain? I didn't get the new wo's, and now almost kicking myself because I missed out on the great pricing. Hoping she has a great deal at the RT.

Now to get some more stuff done around the house while I can and start a pot of chili. Ground sirloin was on sale so making it with beef instead of ground turkey. Sound perfect for the single digit and lower temps that we're getting this week.

Heidi - P90X3 cardio is very tough. I really like P90X3. Good job on your run yesterday. Any DOMS today? You are kicking butt with your your workouts.

Sherry - good job on shovel snow. I and most people log all our weight workout in MFP under cardio. When you log it under weight workouts..you have to add every single rep, way to time consuming, if you ask me. I gained a lot of strength and lost some inches in my waist, legs. I love the variety, the workouts are well rounded.

Oh believe me I am sore! My upper has been really feeling it this weekend. Also my quads from the challenge workouts this past week.

Today I did a warm up with X10 premix 38.
Did a TM Tempo workout with hills: 2miles
Then did my Daily Hiit Challenge day 6. PHEW!

I am headed into the cold and now drizzling rain/snow mix. YUCK! Not sure how much we will get today.

Oh Sherry: :) I have my chili recipe ready for tomorrow too but it is made with turkey of course.
Right now in my crock-pot I have Chicken with soy sauce and honey cooking. This is from skinny taste.com Called: Crock Pt Sesame Honey Chicken

The Chili recipe is also by her: No Bean Turkey and Sweet Potato Chili.

Good evening!

ST Legs done, plus shoveled another 3" this morning. Was going to have the kids do it this afternoon after school, but after the plow came by, needed to shovel to get my car out to go to work. Argh!

Belinda - Keep rocking it! I've been using Cathe's wo manager to log since the ST sheets print right out. No way will I be logging in every weight set. Guess MFP will keep thinking that I'm getting heavier.

Heidi - Great jog today! I might have to try that as a variation for chicken - we eat it a lot and it does get old. Chili with beef was a nice change around here.

I'm wiped gals, so this is it. Hope you had a good one and see ya tomorrow.
