I did STS D16 this afternoon, just finished P90X3 Eccentric Upper!

ST Legs done, plus shoveled another 3" this morning. Was going to have the kids do it this afternoon after school, but after the plow came by, needed to shovel to get my car out to go to work. Argh!

Belinda - Keep rocking it! I've been using Cathe's wo manager to log since the ST sheets print right out. No way will I be logging in every weight set. Guess MFP will keep thinking that I'm getting heavier.

Heidi - Great jog today! I might have to try that as a variation for chicken - we eat it a lot and it does get old. Chili with beef was a nice change around here.

I'm wiped gals, so this is it. Hope you had a good one and see ya tomorrow.

Thank you on my job workout. The ifit programs are great and I am really liking them. I just hope my DD doesn't have plans to take her TM back anytime soon. LOL ;)

I finished P90X3 Triometrics awhile ago, I also did STS D17 legs. That wasn't a good idea:D Both workouts target the LB!

Hi all!

WO done - 1 mile interval run then Burn Sets B&T's.

Belinda - High 5's! You really killed the lower body today. Will you be able to walk tomorrow? I'm struggling to remember to log my food in MFP all the time. Feel like I'm always on catch up. However, I am noticing that I'm not where I want to be on protein, so need to up that. My goal is 40/40/20.

Heidi - You, too! That's another one I'm hoping is discounted at the RT. Great that you still have your DD's iFit. I'm following Alwyn Cosgrove's typical interval pattern (1 min fast, 2 min slow) and slowly building up my speed. Not going too long, as I can tell my left side still isn't as strong as my right (really - mismatched butt cheeks!).

Not sure what I will do today? I will go to DC shortly:D I will bring my workout cloth, no excuse not to work out, right?;) Before I leave I will do P90X3 yoga.

Sherry - fantastic job yesterday. Don't bet yourself up about not logging into MFP. Maybe that will help you too, I do my last log in in the evening right after dinner. This way I don't forget! As far as the protein goes, I drink a protein shake, which helps!

Heidi - what are your plans today?

So I woke today with little soreness. I did an interval run for 2.30 miles.
Well
Now that the day is almost over ... I am really felling my leg and butt. Oh boy... Lol!

Sherry great job on your run and upper body workout.

Belinda! You did 2 LB w/o's yesterday? How are you walking today? lol! ;)

Been reading more on vegetable rich diets - a better way for me to get my carbs. Joel Fuhrman advocates 1/2 lb fruit, 1 lb cooked veggies and 1 lb raw greens every day - that's alot! How much are you gals eating?

Sherry - Yes, I did! Did my workout right after I posted. That is a lot of fruit, veg and green:eek: Is there a reason for eating so much veg, fruit and greens?

Belinda - Great job! Only 1 wo today, tho? You are slowing down. ;) As for the fruits and veggies, Fuhrman says fill up on that first, then eat the protein - for which he advocates beans not meat. With that much fruits & veggies, you are getting plenty of nutrients and fiber. I'm getting a couple of other books that were recommended which have a similar philosphy. I'll let you know what they say.

Heidi - What did you get done today?

Sherry - that's weird? I don't see my post from last night? I also did STS D18 (BB):D So, this is more like a vegetarian diet? I had no idea Fuhrman wasn't eating animal protein…

WO and Groceries done! First, hit the grocery store after dinner so we'd have food in the house since we're getting dumped on again tomorrow. Just finished XT CBS - love seeing the progress in weights and reps. :)

Belinda - Hope that stuffy head goes away quickly. I swear by Zicam. I really do think it cuts down on the number of days for the cold. I have DS starting it right now 'cause he's complaining of a sore throat. Yes, Fuhrman is vegetarian. Don't think we're going that far, yet, but looking to up the fruits and veggies while still finding ways to get enough protein.

Heidi - What did you get done today.

Tomorrow is Saturday - I'll enjoy sleeping in. Hope you do, too. See ya then.
 
Good morning!

Well, the snow has started. Think we're on target for 6" followed by freezing rain - this should be fun. At least wo #1 is done - 1 mile interval sprints followed by STS Ex Stretch. That felt soooo good - the chest and shoulders were stiff from last night's weight.

Still on tap - shoveling and XT CL - love more leg work.
