Getting it done for January 2014!!!!

Good morning!

Yesterday's wo was shovel the snow from the plow at the end of the driveway so I could get out to go to work. Since I wanted to rest my shoulder another day, I didn't do the first day of XTrain - CBS, but did BS instead, really focusing on using my glutes and hams to "push" me onto the step rather than having the quads "pull". Really made a difference that I could feel this morning still.

Today I'm working from home due to the bitter cold (-12 right now with a windchill of -37 - yowzas!) and icy roads, so getting a slow start. At lunch I'll take a break and get in yesterday's CBS, then tonight I'd like to make it a double and do Cardio Legs to get back on track.

I've also been reading the goal setting section of BFFM, and maybe that's been part of my problem - true commitment, so I plan to actually do the goal setting exercises.

Belinda - You are really rocking it doing P90X3 and STS! Keep up the great work. How much sleep is this intense wo schedule wanting you to get? My body would be asking for more than usual with that schedule.

Heidi - Are you and the rest of the family feeling better? Staying warm?

CBS done! not sure if I'll be able to do Cardio Legs and give it a good effort. Still feeling the after effects of the UBWO.

WO done! CL - but strength only premix. Glutes will be feeling it tomorrow. Will having matching DOMS to the UB from yesterday.

Belinda - Great job once again today. I'd think with all that working out, you would be sleeping like a baby. Maybe it will get better in a few weeks.

Had a lot of fun in DC with my kids I came home late to check in.

Never got a workout in yesterday, I had no excuse either. Had the time, just never got around. So today I need to double up if DH feels up to it?

If my plans fall in place….we will do YogaX and The Challenge today.

Sherry - LOL, about matching DOMS:eek: Keep up the good work;) My sleep did improve with all that workouts, I still walk up in the middle of the night:eek:

Heidi - how are you doing?

Sorry I didn't check in this morning. Had to run some errands.

Never got my second workout in yesterday, day was crazy

At 6 a.m. DH and I did P90X3 yoga, I already walked the dogs for 45 min. Getting ready to do STS D12 and this evening DH and I will do P90X3 CVX.

I will drink my cup of tea, than off to D12.

Sherry - wtg, on Hard Strikes. That one is tough, glad it helped work out all the kinks;)

P90X3 The Challenge is done = this workout consist of pull ups and push ups back to back:eek: I did all the push ups on my toes:p Feeling DOMS in my back already. I will push STS D12 to Sunday, my legs need a break. Next week is a recovery week from STS.

WO done! Bi's & Tri's Plus Core #2. I'll be feeling it all tomorrow - glutes still feeling it from the other day.

Belinda - Hi 5's for push-ups on your toes! You are my idol! ;) Yep, I'd push the leg work back too (though that's on tap for me tomorrow - hope the glutes are feeling better :D).

Now, to quickly change to get to DD's soccer game - yes, game at 10:30 tonight. I'll be sleeping in tomorrow. Please don't wake me. ;) Catch ya then.
 
Good morning!

WO 1 done already - 1.5 mile interval run on TM. XTrain legs on tap for later today. Don't have the DOMS I was expecting today - not in the tri's or abs - what's up with that? I was doing the tricep work to failure - definitely shaking at the end. glutes feeling good, so the leg work later today should do them in good.

Weather is finally warming up - but rain along with the snow melt, so no dog walks - she'll be an absolute mess!

DH and I took the dogs for a 45 min walk this morning, glad we did now it's raining. We just finished P90X3 CVX and The Warrior. The Warrior was tough after yesterday's workout, this one had a lot of push up too.

Sherry - you go girl! Fantastic job yesterday and today. Good for you getting your workouts in. I usually get DOMS 2 day's later. I am sure you will get some tomorrow. I guess tomorrow you and I will do legs together.

Heidi - hope all is well?

I need to get something in my stomach. All that working out, made me hungry!

I will be back in the morning. Still need to do STS D12 tomorrow. Have a wonderful day and weekend.

WO #2 in the bag! I just did the standing portion of legs, considering how much my glutes were hurting from CL the other day. Next time I can add on.

Belinda - 2 P90X3 wo's and you still want to do STS, all that after walking the dogs? You are quite the wo animal! LOL! Keep at it!

BTW - Tri DOMS starting to kick in this evening.

Good morning! Happy Sunday!

Wowza, my glutes and hams were sooooo tight this morning, I could barely move. When I was finally moving good, I did All Out LI HIIT, which helped work out the rest of the stiffness.

It's Sunday, so the rest of the normal weekend stuff still to do since we went shopping yesterday and spent the rest of the gifts cards. Laundry already going but not looking forward to groceries - never fun but always a necessity.

Belinda - DH is really enjoying P90X3. Glad I got it for him. Maybe I'll try it with him but we never seem to be in sync with wo times. How are you managing that and STS?

Trying to figure out how much of a wet mess the dog will be if I take here for a walk. We're thawing here.

I finished STS D12 Legs and walk awhile ago.

Sherry - you should give P90X3 a try, I think you would enjoy it too. My husband also really enjoy it. STS and P90X3 is working out great:D Nice job on All Out LI HIIT today.

Trying to get back to doing something here.
Saturday was 3 mules on the TM. Plus a quick phone app w/o from Gorilla workouts.

Sunday: nothing but paperwork. Tax season. Argh!

This morning I did a Z shred w/o. It was all I could handle. My lungs are still burning making it hard to do cardio.

WO done! Burn Sets CBS. Muscles still exhausted as I type this.

Belinda - I probably will try P90X3 since DH is doing it, but we aren't in sync on wo times (he's starting right now). I'm enjoying XTrain right now, but maybe I'll think about doubling up on the weekend once I get a bit more fit.

Heidi - Missed you! Great job on getting in a run.
