Getting it done for February 2015

Morning!

No workouts thus far for this week. :/

Been super busy with tax season prep and snow clearing.

Today is a new day! So I am off to finally Get It Done! RWH back, biceps and shoulders. Adding in a short run as well.

Make it a good one! Nice job on your workouts everyone!

Belinda: Great job on getting towards the end of your XT rotation too! That is awesome commitment!

Sherry: Sorry to hear about the drain issues. I had to laugh how the teenagers just ignore such issues. ;) Same here....

Sara: Your doing great with your workouts! Keep it up. :) I usually try to eat a little something before my WO's. Toast w/PB or
banana and PB. Very light foods with a little protein.

Heidi, any word on when your building will be up and running? What are the plans in the mean time?

Today I'll do 4DS Kickbox. I haven't done that one in a long time. Later I'll do a stretch.

Hey!

OK DONE! RWH back, shoulders and biceps! Added in a 3 mile run. :) Feel so much better!

Sara: We are back at work and the roof area that collapsed is being worked on. Lucky it was in a separated area of the building
from where my office is.
The snow build up on all buildings in the area is terrible! Even my house is showing signs of water/ice damage at this point. I am keeping my
fingers crossed we get warmer weather very soon to start melting away some of this mess. All of it would be great! LOL!

both workouts are done! This was my last XT weight workout :D Love the entire program. Glad I did it. Not sure, what I will do next week? Maybe I will do Cathe's RWH?

Hi all!

Been a crazy few days here. Wednesday - dealing with dead car battery - his - so no wo (not fun in sub-feezing temps). Thursday - feeling a bit off, so didn't think it wise to sprint or lift heavy, decided to rest a bit first . . . and well, that was that.

So now Friday, and I have 2 runs and 3 weight wo's to get done in the the next 3 days to stay on schedule. Good thing we don't have plans for tonight - looks like a run and D7 for me.

Belinda - Yay! You finished XT! Glad you liked it - thougth you would. As for next, you have so many choices . . . but RWH would be great.

Sara - 4DS - haven't done those in a while, should pull them out. Have you decided on a rotation?

Heidi - Surprised you did an UBWO. Thought the snow shoveling would have sufficed. At least you are able to still work at the office.

Lunch break over - back to work. Have a good one, and stay warm! (Was -19* when I left this morning. At least it's up to 0* right now. Really - I'm excited about it being 0*!)
 
I've decided to do the fat loss rotation. I like that one, but there are only a few heavier weight workouts. I'm going to do it for a few weeks and then go back to a RWH rotation. Today I did Afterburn. Man that one leaves you breathless. Fast, fast, fast. My HRM said 490 cal for 54 minutes. Not bad!

My DS got his wisdom teeth out today, he's sleeping away on the couch. Poor guy. Little does he know these first few hours are the easy ones when the anesthesia is still strong. I'll be hanging out here and monitoring all day. Nice to have an excuse to lay low and be quiet.

Sherry - It's always hard to juggle those unexpected things like a dead battery. Now you are looking at a daunting couple of days to get all of those wos done.

Belinda - have you tried any of the RWH rotations. They are good. Tough though.

Heidi - I'm sending as many dry thoughts your way for your house. I sure hope you don't get a lot of damage. There has to be a break soon, it's just been non stop now for what? couple of months? Seems like it from the reports.

Sara: LOL! It does seem like forever with all this non stop snowing! Can't tell you how much I am looking forward to warming temps. Even into the upper 20's!
Great job on Afterburn! That one is a great one.
I hope your son is doing ok. That is no picnic to go through. Ice cream and liquid diet for awhile for sure. Good to remind him to keep flushing out the area where the teeth were removed. Big time bummer if a bit of food gets stuck and causes an infection. :/

Sherry: Oh man if its not cold enough right? These temps are bad for us and the cars. :/ LOL! Yup I totally agree with you on wishing for warmer weather and glad it made it into single digits. Above freezing PLEASE so we can start melting this snow and ice!

Well no workout today for me. I guess that is ok seeing as I did cardio and weights yesterday. :) Just another busy work day and of course lack of sleep last night didn't help matters.
Tomorrow I am planning on Plyo 1 and abs 1 from RWH series. I think that is next... ;)

Just finished my first workout plan:
RWH plyo 1 and abs 1

Later I will do a 3 mile run on the TM. Still darn cold out to do any runs outside. I just can't take this kind of weather anymore.

Today I'll take a rest day and do today's workout tomorrow. I've had 13 days in a row and yesterday I had to fight through. Plus, I had to get up every 3 hours to take care of my son, so sleeping was tough. Going back to sleep can sometimes be tough.

Heidi- good job on the run. It can sure get old not being able to get outside. Thanks for the reminder on the swishing. They gave my DS some rinse, but it's been about 7 years since my older DD got hers out and I forgot about that. I wonder why they didn't remind me?

Sherry- I hope you have more energy today, Friday can really be a big let down day after working all week.

I can't see my post from yesterday?? I did 21 Day Fix Cardio. Today I did Desiree Bartlett Yoga for Beginners #2. I need that stretch, my hip is very tight.

Sara - hope you enjoyed your rest day yesterday.

Heidi - good job with RWH plyo 1 and ab yesterday. Glad you enjoy the workouts.

Sherry - nicely done with 3 mile run and D7!

Hi all!

Getting back on track, and it is admittedly a bit wearing. Yesterday did D9 before heading to DD's soccer game and then to see the movie McFarland (nice feel good movie). Way to much sitting made me very stiff.

Got in my 3 mile run this morning, much later than desired, but had to wait until the legs. Getting laundry, errands and the rest of the weekend stuff done. Still plan to get in D8 in between laundry loads, then I'm all caught up.

Sara - Hope your DS is feeling better. Mine will get his teeth pulled when he comes home at the end of the semester. Good choice in your rotation. I find having some kind of plan keeps me going more, even if I switch up the plan. Good choice in a rest day, too, when you need it. 'Course, that's why I'm doubling up this weekend.

Heidi - Doing plyo and a run again on the same day - aren't you a glutton for punishment. That's got to be burning some fat off.

Belinda - Nice job on yesterday's card and today's yoga. Those are both a bit short for you. Glad you are taking it a bit easy.

Off to switch laundry loads. Hope you are getting everything accomplished on your list, too.

I will do 21 Day Fix for the next 3 weeks. Today I will do 21 DF TB Cardio Fix = 12 min and SBF Barre 12 = 30 min.

Sherry - once a week I need a break from working out. WTG, on your workouts. Don't be so hard on yourself, you have a lot going on. Do what you can do, you still losing weight.

Heidi - have fun with your workouts today.

Sara - how is your son doing? Hope he feel better soon.

Busy work day again. Well that's Monday for me anyway because it usually is.

I did get in a 3 mile run first thing. Planned on RWH upper but by the time I got home I was beat.

Ever since that RWH Back, Bicep and shoulder workout my biceps have been talking to me. My elbow joint is really bugging me.
Just as well I give my upper a little extra break tonight.

I love doing runs after Plyo because I just feel like it helps loosen things up a bit. Plus those workouts are short! :)

Back on track tomorrow for I am taking a (me) day off from work. ;) Plan: RWH chest, shoulders and triceps. Maybe another run...
This workout is a little long but will see.

Sherry: Wow sounds like another busy day for you as well. Nice job on your workouts. :)

Belinda: How did you do this morning with your workout plan?

Sara: How is your Son feeling today? Weird that the Dentist didn't mention the flushing out of the empty socket. :/ I hope you got
some rest. I completely understand how it is waking up and not getting back to sleep. The on going battle here for sure.

Hi all!

Decided to take it easy today after 3 very hard wo days, so did Yoga Relax, which was just the right amount of stretch and relaxation. Tomorrow it's back to it.

Belinda - Knew you couldn't do just one work out! ;) Great job, and good plan for the next 3 weeks.

Heidi - Yay! A "me" day. I need one of those. Biceps talking, huh? That's usually the last muscle group to comment. Probably do need to give your UB that break.

Sara - Hope your son is feeling better, and you are back on track.

I just took three days off. Those wisdom teeth had me up all night and I think I needed a short break. Reminded me (only a little:) ) of those baby days. Yesterday DS woke up with a black eye. Must have been harder on him than expected. I was wondering why he was sleeping so much. He's a trooper though and is going back to school today with two truckloads of homework, poor guy.
Today I'm back with Imax2. This will be my first time with this WO. I have Imax 3 and love it, so I'm hoping this one can compete. Great solid cardio.
Sherry - hope you can travel safely today, saw that there may be terrrible road conditions.
Belinda- Great workouts planned.

Spending today home catching up on house projects. I should do something else like a pedi. :)
