Good Evening!
Yesterday ended up being a rest day. It was also a work-from-home-to-deal-with-a-tub-that-won't-drain kind of day. That was due to either 1) frozen pipes, 2) hair clog or 3) probably a bit of both.

Bad house design - bathrooms are over an uninsulated/heated garage in a northern climate, but we've never had the problem before. We know some neighbors have. Any way, after several hours of Liquid Plumber, a drain snake, bailing the 6"-8" in there (why do teenagers wait until it's that full to figure it out?), and several kettles of hot water (maybe I should count all that running up and down the stairs for my workout

), it finally drained completely while unattended. Yay, that's over.
Today, beautiful sunny skies and temps made it to the balmy 20's! Also, workout done - great 3 mile of intervals.

Then, ShovelMin, since it was only about 2" of light fluffy stuff. At least the dog still loves playing in it. Not enjoying if for long, because temps will be taking a serious nose dive again.
Sara - You are a brave woman. I have yet to do X77. Nothing wrong with switching up a rotation, as long as you are doing something, right? Ice wine is usually made with Riesling grapes. It's called "ice" because the grapes are left on the vine until they freeze, which gives it lots of flavor and is rather strong (think 3 oz., not 6). We have regional wineries that produce it, and we can get in anywhere wine is sold (usually the grocery store for me). I would think you could get it because Canadian wineries are big producers (not forgetting the Germans, Belinda). Look in the dessert wine section for very thin bottles.
Heidi - Oh no, about your office building. I've been seeing that on the news. We thankfully have no where near the amount you do. I feel for you.
Belinda - Yay for the last week of Xtrain! Wow, SC and Tabatacise? High Five! Red, white, dessert - depends on my mood. With all the miserable weather, I've been wanting comfort food, and for me that can be rich, sugary desserts (hence wanting sweeter wines. When I get together once a month with the gals for scrapbooking, we always try to find new foods or drinks to try. Last week I tried a very basic (only 4 ingredients) avocado chocolate pudding - we decided that it could have potential, so now to experiment with recipes that have more ingredients.
That's it for today. Time to wind down. Hope you have a good one, and catch ya tomorrow.
