I will do D10 today plus abs, never got them in yesterday:(

Morning! :)

Just finished my w/o. Warm-up with 4DS Higher intensity: Did BR 6/28/11 15:10min, 4DS Chest and back w/stretch 35.50min. and my total w/o time today was: 51min.

BR today was high knees at max effort at an interval of 5 sec rest and 10 sec work. 16 rounds.
Then using a weight squat to pick up, sumo squat jump in put weight down opposite side to do a push-up with jump back up and do pick up weight on other side...repeat 30 times. Next do the high knees interval all over again. :)

Tough but awesome workout!

Hi all!

We're back from our trip, where they all did plenty of hiking and I mostly worked. Now we're back in the normal swing of things - cross country practice for DS, soccer practice for DD, etc. School doesn't start 'til after Labor day, so they can still enjoy the lazy days.

I on the other had, finally got in a wo. Dog walk (1 mile) to warm up, then 2.5 mile run which is when the left outer knee started bothering me, so 1.5 mile walk home, followed by plenty of stretching! 8 week to go until the half, so keeping the knee healthy is important.


Belinda - Keep up the great work with STS!

Heidi - Great job on BR plus weights! How are your knees after all that jumping?

I don't think I ever posted my workouts yesterday? I did D10, walked for 30 min and did JM30Day shred.

That is wise to be cautious on your knee..sounds like ITB is too tight or inner thighs can cause this feeling too. Keep stretching and make sure to warm up good before heading out.

I warm up before any of the BR workouts. I am doing really well with all the exercises and feeling much stronger for it. Abs are really getting cut!!! :) LOVE IT!

Today I did a workout using a soft 6#med ball. This workout gets everything!!!! Cardio and strength and abs all rolled into one. Only 30min long too! I wore my HRM to see how I was doing and it was an avg of 143-171 and burned 411 calories.

Tomorrow is 4DS legs/calves
Might through in a BR cardio interval too. :) Will see if there are any new ones posted for this week.

Sherry, welcome back! Glad you listen to your body;) Take it easy! Your race is soon, wow!

Heidi - what HR monitor do you have? I don't think mine is reading right, I always get a low reading:eek: Those BR workouts are intense, good job! I will add those next month, for now I will stick with JM 30 Day Shred as a add on. See if that will make my a difference?

And yes, Heidi....I did worked my abs first. Need to do them first, otherwise I will skip them. Need to get better at this.

As I said, I did AC" Stability ball abs first" than I did Hiit 40/20 followed by JM 30 Day shred. I also walked my dogs this morning.

Hi all!

WO done - listened to my body, so today was 1 mile walk with dog, TBS and Yoga for Athletes - running. Legs are nice are loose now. I'm sure the tightness is due to the combination of sitting in a car a lot and not working out. Will be changing that this week.


Heidi - Great calorie burn! Sounds like today was hard one. And you're getting "cut abs"? Sounds like you are getting great results!

Belinda - You are so good about doing the abs! Always! I've never done any Jillian wo's - you must like 30 day shred if you're adding it on every day. Is it totally cardio?

Stopping by to say that I just finished UBS and Stab Ball Abs. Even did the push-ups on my toes. We'll feel the DOMS tomorrow!

Belinda - I need to melt the fat layer on must more than my abs!

My plan is AS and JM30DS today.

Sherry - I hear you on that fat layer, carry around more that I want too. All that working out and still have so much layers...arrrr. Still working on it. Nice job on the abs.

Hannah - we are still waiting on the house. That will take a few month. DD is doing great, she feel much better. Nice job, on D1.

Heidi - When I am done with JM30DS, I will add those BR workouts. You are doing fantastic with them, wtg. How did your leg workout go?

Hi all!

Today is a run day, so warmed up with Basic Step, put on my running shoes, dog went nuts so took her for a quick walk, then went for a nearly 3 mile run, cut short only because that last hill before getting home was a bit much. Knee feels absolutely great, so the stretching is working.

Belinda - Great job on both those workouts today! I think my fat layer would be a little less if I'd give up that evening ice cream, which I haven't done while it's been so hot this summer. Maybe now as it cools down . . .

Just a quick check in.

I am done with my workouts. We are leaving Harpers Ferry due to the Huricane coming our way. If you don't hear from me tomorrow, I am on the road. Will check in when I can. Stay safe everyone!

Just got the yard cleared of lawn furniture etc. Crockpot has dinner cooking....ahead just incase we loose power here.

My workouts have been cut here and there this week because of appointments etc.

Thur: 4ds shoulders and calves OH MY! they are so super sore and tight!!! EEK!

Today I did a warm-up with 4DS kickbox, itread #27 Drills, and then finished up with Bi's and tris from 4DS.

Sherry: That is great your knee is doing better. :) Nice job on the runs!
On the abs....YUP same thing I am working off. ;) planks and more planks seem to be the way to go. Plus interval cardio for great fat burning.

Belinda: Be safe! The storm is heading up my way between tonight and tomorrow. It is already raining so this is the very outer edge of the storm hitting us right now. Going to be a long couple of days.

Finally did the MMA Kickbox wo that I had tried to do yesterday but never happened. Legs feel good and loose. Also need to get in a long run.

I did get in my run - 4.5 miles. Knees feeling good, but still having trouble with the hills. It'll come.
