Getting a headache during workouts

Does anyone ever get a headache during or just after workouts? I find that sometimes when I take a cardio class or do a Cathe cardio, I get a headache! It is only when I am pushing rally hard and get that high during the workout.

I used to think it was b/c I was dehydrated or that I hadn't eaten enough during the day but I have taken steps to make sure this isn't the case and it still happens once in a while!

Anyone else? Or does anyone have suggestions?
 
I think there was a thread just a short while back that asked this question about headaches during workouts. I believe there was some good ideas. Sorry, I don't have the formula for the thread. You might try the search mode to perhaps get more info. :D Hope this helps and gives you some ideas.

There is lots of headache triggers out there. I have migraines and I sympathize with anyone who gets headaches for any reason.
 
I don't know if this will apply to you but when I use to get headaches during/after a workout, I finally figured out that I had been holding my breath a lot during the workout. HTH

I am no expert but I have been through it. Someone (a pharmacist) told me that I don't drink enough water and that is why the unexplained headaches.

I laughed at her and said, yah whaterver, considering I used to drink 3L every day.

For the heck of it, I increased my water intake (during the day, not during workout) and voila ... no headaches! Increasing water also helped get rid of my tummy cramps I used to experience initially.

I only sip water to wet my lips during the workout. Can't drink water cause otherwise I feel the water bouncing in my tummy when I jump to high (not good!)

You might try that - increasing water for a week or so and see if you feel any differently.
