++ Get Melting!...it's Wednesday ++

Good evening melters.

I'm pooped and on my way to bed, but wanted to check in here quickly. I had my stress test this afternoon. I did it on the treadmill and didn't have any trouble with my knee. It's a little ouchy now. The girls said they weren't going to admit to the cardiac unit or send me to the cath lab, but they couldn't tell me anything else. I have to wait for the cardiologist to read it and send the report to my doctor, who will, hopefully, OK my surgery. By this time next week, I hope to be hobbling around on crutches and doing my exercises.

Tneah, and Emily, I'm thrilled with both your good moods. I smile at the picture of you two dancing through the day.

Shelley, now you have to do something wonderfully creative with your new stash and post it for us to ohhhh and ahhhh over. Did I tell you we are getting a Target?

Leanne, your week sounds good. Long days, but days "off" to recupe and prepare. What year students do you mostly teach? If they are freshmen, they were probably quivering more than you.

Deb, could someone have a watch with an alarm tucked into a drawer?

Michelle, are you around? Hope you are done with the buckets of snot.

Shannon, are you done with your project yet? I'm so glad I don't have to meet deadlines like that in my job. We are the most laid back department in the lab. Everyone else has STAT and ASAP work, but we pretty much have to wait for the bacteria to grow. Yawn. Kind of like watching grass grow.

I'm headed for bed. I can't believe how beat I am. Stress tests are stressful!

Hello melters. My back muscle feels a lot better today, but I didn't want to risk straining it more with more weights. Today I did Gay Gasper's All Out Infused Step again since I enjoyed it so much the other day. I'll get back to 4DS again tomorrow.

Deb: That's too funny about the beeps. Do either of you have alarms on your phones/watches that might be accidentally set to go off at that time?

Leanne: Congrats for surviving the first day of the semester. That's great that you won't have to work on M/W/F.

Shelley: Wasn't it you at the '05 Roadtrip who did the pike on the red ball in front of Target?

Tneah: You are the melting queen of the week! Congrats on the loss. Oh, and I'm the same way when it comes to 'running hot'. I've always been that way so when hot flashes started I was just soaked all the time. The flashes come in phases with me. There will be months where every day I have them (ugh like all this last summer!) and then they go away for months. Very strange indeed!

Emily: Sometimes it's doing the stupidest things when we get injured. One time I broke my toe just walking in the kitchen and another time I sprained my angle in front of Staples. I still don't know what the hell I tripped over, must have been a grain of salt or something! Of course the bruise to my ego falling down onto the pavement in front of everybody was no fun either.

Lainie: Ugh. I have to get a filling replaced in two weeks. Are you really going to get braces?

Stephanie: Don't worry, I'm usually the late one! Have fun with your new high step. You actually look forward to leg presses? I hate hate hate them!

Robin: Glad you got that awful stress test done!
