This is my first post! Before I answer your question, I just want to thank you and everyone who participates in this forum for your insight and help. I've been reading the forum for a couple of months, but hadn't ever posted. You all have helped me make decisions on purchases, have enlightened me in a number of fitness areas, and certainly have made laugh at times. Thanks!
Anyway, I have this video. Regarding the cardio portion, I think it's a good workout that is very similar to Mega Step Blast, but is 8-10 minutes shorter, and a little less intense. The choreography is very easy to pick up. It's definitely not beginner. It's probably intermediate to advanced intermediate. It's hard for me to say because I think cardio-wise, I'm probably not as advanced as most of you here. I did Step Max the other day, and made it through the second section, took a couple of minutes break to get something for my son, and then had to take another break in the third section because I thought my heart rate felt too high.
The strength portion is probably beginner as they show it, because they use light weights, but it could be modified by using heavier weights, as Cathe says during the workout. I've used it a couple of times when I've had a bad cold, and didn't feel up to doing Cathe's other weight workouts, but still wanted to do something.
I hope that helps!
