Well, I seem to have been tired (at times exhausted) since about last September (IBS flare ups, work stress, sleeping badly - all of which I am working on). I keep trying to work out and failing to keep up with any kind of rotation. Just tried a Slow & Heavy rotation and had to stop after a week and a half because of exhaustion and a feeling that I am just not recovering properly.
So...... I have decided to go on a "general fitness" rotation where I ONLY workout every other day (ie 3 or 4 times per week) and rotate between the following types of videos (mostly Cathe, but some other easier ones):
-Circuits
-Rest
-Steady state cardio
-Rest
-Full body weights
-Rest
-Interval cardio
-Rest
-Yoga
-Rest
Repeat...
I will choose low intensity workouts for just 30 minutes to start with and gradully build up as I can. I'm going to stop worrying about what I THINK I should be doing (eg heavy split weights to increase muscle) and just do this rotation for at least a month to build my fitness back up. Wish me luck!
