gelato ??

I know, it's not clean eating but man is it good. Went on a weekend getaway this past weekend and had gelato for the first time. Man, it is great!

I was wondering if anyone has made gelato. Maybe so many times that you've got it down to a science. I would love to make some but I want it to be as good as what I had at the gelato shop, not just mediocre. If I'm going to ruin a day because of it, I want it to be worth it, haha.

I have never made it, but the only really good gelato I have ever had was in Italy! Nothing I have had in the U.S. has come close! Guess I'm spoiled and need another trip to Italy!
