Good Morning Girls :)

I am running out of creative ideas for the thread title:)

Today was CK. As always, I really enjoyed this workout! I really like the way she does the drills after the cardio. I upped the intensity with them, jumping or squating before Cathe and crew did.

Work and baseball today. I hope to get back to chat.
Running late now :)

Hope everyone had a fun workout today!
Gin~ did you run and do CF????? inquiring minds want to know;-) }(

Good morning GMD!

Deanie - you're doing great with the titles and I'm glad that I don't have to start them every day. :) Have fun with baseball today, is it practice or a game?

Today was LIC but I only had time for the upper body premix and the blast add ons. I really wanted to have time for abs but I didn't. Maybe I'll be able to add them on to tomorrow.

Marcy & Gin - Hope you had good workouts.

I'm only working until noon today and then heading home to get some cleaning done. I didn't get anything done last weekend so I really need to concentrate and clean.

Hi Girls!

Today was LIC's Total Body Sculpt premix. This one flowed rather nicely. I like that there weren't many weight changes and a lot of band work. I haven't done the abs in this one for awhile and I was feeling it. I don't care for the cardio in this one, but the strength work is good. I couldn't use the band with the barbell for the bicep curls. I did a few reps but my band is only 5 ft. and it doesn't stretch enough. The band I got from Collage broke in two months so I got a set of Pilates bands which are good but for some of Cathe's stuff, they're a little too short. I used the same weights as Cathe except for overhead presses with barbell, I used 30# for the first 8 reps and I used 8# for the kickbacks. I also used a heavy band for the double arm rows.

Deanie - I agree, great job with the names. You could just call it whatever rotation we're doing for the month with our initials after it?

Tracee - Hope you get all your cleaning done. I'm sick of it. Keeping my house prepped for showing all the time is a pain in the a**.

Gin - Hope you had a good workout.

Good Morning (Barely!)

Today was my 3 mile run and then CF!!}( :p }( I did it all, but can I still be crowned the Cardio Queen if I used a 6" step?? (hangs her head in shame) I forget to use 8", but will try to remember with LIC tomorrow. I deserve something for doing those DM drills two days in a row, don't you think?? That is definitely the tough part doing the drills one after another!! I did burn a total of 759 calories with running and CF.

Tracee--Are you sore from KM drills? Happy cleaning!

Marcy--Did you watch the men on DWTS last night?? I liked Helio best and then Albert and Floyd were fun to watch. They both have a lot of fun energy. Why did the judges give Floyd such low scores? I wonder who will be the first to be sent home? I imagine Wayne Newton will stay b/c of his popularity.

Deanie--Glad you enjoyed CK. I'll do that on Friday. This is definiely the cardio week! Enjoy the baseball. Thank you always starting the thread!!:*

Have a great day!

Hi Again!

Gin - You may still retain your crown. You're a lot better than me. DM drills 2 days in a row is too much for me. You get a gold star:). So are you starving now after all that cardio?

Here's who I liked in order from best to worst on DWTS:

Helio - He was awesome. I wonder if he's had any prior training. He was so smooth.
Albert - Great hip action. I think he was trying to get some votes that way since he felt no one really knew him.
Floyd - I don't know why they gave him such low scores. I thought he was really good. He can really move but I think he has to concentrate on looking more like a dancer now instead of a boxer.
Cameron - I was hoping he would do better - looked a little stiff too me but started to loosen up. Hopefully he'll get better.
Wayne - Also looked too stiff but he is the oldest in the bunch. But he did look like he was enjoying himself.
Mark Cuban - Was not impressed. He can go home.

I think either Mark or Josie will go home. I also didn't think Josie and Alec had very good chemistry which is real important.

Good Afternoon!!

Gin~ I am bowing down to you in awe}( }( }( You are THE woman: a 3 mile run and CF!! I wish they had a smilie with a tiarra--> that would be you!LOL... Seriously, I am very impressed.

Tracee~ Are you home cleaning? I am not a procratinator (sp?) normally, but for cleaning, I am. Thank goodness for the cleaning woman, although she probably is never happy with me!!:) :)

Marcy~ I'm glad you liked your premix today. I think LIC abs is one of the best abs. I like the banana holds and the planks. Just out of curiousity, it is about that time.... have you given any thought to the next rotation? I'm not sure what I want to do, maybe alternate weeks of heavy lifting and muscle endurance. I don't want to be burnt out when we get the new dvds. It looks like mid to late Oct. for them.

Deanie

Hi Again!

Deanie - I was really hoping we were going to have the DVDs by the end of this rotation but I don't think that's happening. We could take a couple of recovery weeks. This is very frustrating - if we only knew exactly what date we could plan accordingly. I have so many new workouts, I would have plenty to do. I haven't done too many total body workouts in a while so that might be interesting for a change but I think I really do my best when I do splits. There is also the Upper Body Bliss rotation (I think Oct '05) which I really liked.

It alternates between GS & S&H but I was thinking maybe to insert PS instead of GS since we just finished a GS rotation.

This one is a 4-day split which sounds interesting.

Let me know what you think or if you have any better ideas.

I didn't have any problem with the planks today:) but the jacknifes were a little challenging.

Hi Girls!

I hope you see this post in the morning. Something was wrong with my computer earlier and I couldn't get on.x(

Marcy--I have not been "starving"...not yet. But, I have been tired and thirsty. I know when I trained for a long distance run, I would need more sleep. Glad to see Josie was voted off on DWTS. Mark Cuban will get a lot of votes from around here, being that he is the Dallas Mavericks owner. After this, I would really like to take a rest week ( since I went on the RT during our last "rest" week!!) I like the idea of the 4 day split best of the 2 that you posted. And I would like to use my new PS dvds!

Hi Tracee and Marcy--If you don't see me posting, it may be b/c my computer is acting up!

Gin:)
