Good Morning Girls :)

Today was CF. I ran out of time (could not wake up!!) so I did the cardio only premix. I liked it and it was still challenging.

rotation: I'm thinking I don't care what we do, but I would like to see what Cathe posts before I make a decision.

I am running late, DS still sleeping, and has to catch the bus in 15 min!!!

Hope everyone has a good workout today!

BBL,
Deanie:*

Good Morning DMT!!

Today was 3 mile run and then CK. I am very much looking forward to a rest day tomorrow, although I might do DS's yoga.
Here is my schedule for next week:
S-CM, Stretch Max #1
M-MIC (not sure if I have ever done this one)
T-SJP/SB "weights and step" premix (new to me also)
W- run 2 miles,RS...FUN!!
Th-BC/ME bonus combo (also new to me)
F-run 3 miles, Step Works (also new to me)
S-yoga

We have Fall Break today...yeah! DH and I are going to try out one of the restaurants for the rehearsal dinner and hopefully make a decision today.

Deanie--What is cut out of the CF cardio only premix? I am also curious to see what Cathe has for October. Hope ds got to the bus on time.

Marcy--LIC was fine on the 8" since it is low impact anyway. I don't plan to take a COMPLETE rest week, but maybe yoga, walk, light exercise. I guess just nothing intense, so I can be refreshed and ready for her new workouts. I have had a lot of headaches this week and took meds nearly every day and wonder if that has anything to do with the way I'm feeling.x(

Tracee--Did you enjoy your half day off?

Have a great day ladies!
Gin:)

Hi Ladies!

Today was Circuit Max and I enjoyed it. Lots of high impact cardio very reminiscent of IMAX 1 and MIC hi/lo. I liked the step/kickboxing cardio. I burned 451 calories. Did step on 8". Not a bad workout. I'm really getting more into kickboxing lately. I almost thought she forgot about chest and back until she did it at the end but I didn't think it was quite enough. Planks were good (I dropped down to my knees for a couple of seconds but then went back up). I was just thinking that someone should make a circuit workout with heavy weights. Here is my tentative schedule for next week:

S - Dance Workshop (3 hours)
M - Hard Core Extreme #1
T - MIC (only hi/lo) plus CM1 and SM1
W - SJP Weights & Step Premix (I also never did this one before)
T - Yoga (no dancing)
F - BC/ME everything but core premix plus ME Abs (never did this one before either)
Sat & Sun - Pilates (if I get a chance) and rest.

I'll also wait for Cathe to post the Oct. rotation before I make a decision. (I can't believe it's October already.)

Gin - I love Step Works. I hope you enjoy it. I find that the most complex cardio on Cardio Hits (I guess that's why it's my favorite.) Good luck with the restaurant. Re MIC - the hi/lo is really intense. The step's not bad though (it's done on 8"). It's my most dreaded cardio. I don't do this one very often but am anxious to see if the impact has lessened for me now. The first time I did it I thought Cathe was crazy. I couldn't get through it all. It starts out low impact and then keeps building from there. Here's the premix info for CF:

Mixed Cardio 41 ½ minutes

BM2 warm up
DM cardio drills 1-6
BM2 stretch

Deanie - Have you done the BC/ME premix? How did you like it?

Tracee - Hope you had a good workout.

Good Afternoon :)

This is my week:
Sun: C&W
Mon: MIC
Tues: SJP/SB weights and step premix #23
Wed: RS (very excited, haven't done in a while):)
Thurs: BC/ME bonus combo (never done this before)
Fri: CTX kickbox (cardio only) CM1, SM1
Sat: off
Sun: off or new rotation (?)

Gin~ Good luck with the restaurant tonight. Even if its not right for the rehearsal dinner, its a night out with DH :) The premix I did today was All step cardio: BM2 warmup, BM2 bonus cardio 2X, LIC bonus cardio and blast, BM2 power circuits without the weight work, BM2 stretch. I used an 8" step and it was a good workout. The only thing missing was the DM drills, but since I did DM on sunday, I didn't care that I missed them today.

Marcy~ Enjoy your dance workshop!:) I have done the BC premix with no abs, I like BC this way, and then do the abs after. I have not done the BC/ME combo I will do on Fri. and I am looking forward to it.

I can't believe its Oct. already either. This month has flown by, between school starting, holidays, and me starting work. October is my favorite month! Looking forward to the leaves changing color, and the cooler weather!!:)

Deanie

Hi Again!

Deanie: So what are your thoughts on CTX Kickbox compared to her others? I hate cooler weather}( but it's actually been in the 80s here almost all week and very humid. My asthma starts to kick in in the cooler weather. I actually read over at VF that there's a book called "Yoga Beats Asthma". I might have to check it out. DH actually started putting screens down on the windows but I'm still putting the AC on. I was sweating buckets this morning and I'd die without my AC. I never used to sweat but since I started with Cathe, I can't seem to stop. I look at people in my dance class with sweatshirts and sweaters and I get hot just looking at them. I can't even go two minutes without having to put my hair up.

Marcy

Hi everyone.

I did CM today and thought it was tough! The hi/lo in the beginning was making me sweat like never before. I ran out of time at the end and had to fast fwd again so I'll be ready to try this one again.

I'm impressed that you guys have it all together to have your next week changes all in place. I don't but I'm sure that's no surprise to anyone. I did manage to do 5 straight days of workouts so I'm taking the entire weekend off. Yeah me!

I have enjoyed my time away from work but haven't been able to motivate myself to get much done at home. :-( Now, our washer is on the fritz so I don't know how I'll get all my laundry done this weekend.

Have a great weekend everyone. We've got homecoming tonight, both boys get to walk in the parade with their football teams. Then we have a weekend full of games again.

Tracee

Tracee~ Yea for 5 days in a row!:7 Enjoy the parade and games this weekend

Marcy~ I like CTX kickbox. Its short, sweet and to the point. Sometimes I think its a little to short, and would like a shorter warmup, longer cardio. I always forget about this kickbox and tend to use the others more often. Don't know why.... I think there is something to yoga and asthma. I don't have asthma, but when I have had a cold or allergies, my head always feels better after yoga. There was a period between doing the firm and finding Cathe, that I only did yoga. I really feel there are sooooo many benefits of doing it. I just can't seem to get the mind set to do it anymore though. I hear you on the sweating, our AC is still on. (heat and allergies)
