Good Morning Girls :)

Today was 30 min. intervals on the treadmill and SM3. I switched things around, because on Fri. I will have more time to do Cardio Fusion, and the TM worked better time wise for me today.

First day of drum lessons with the new teacher today. He comes to the house. Hoping for good things :)

Gin~ I hope you had a wonderful visit with your parents.

Marcy~ Whats on tap for todays workout for you?

Tracee~ How were the games (DS) this weekend? DS had a game, he played VERY good, but the team lost. The other coach was quite a fanatic about winning!!! The kids are only 7 and its supposed to be fun, but this guy was a maniac! Glad he's not my kids coach:)

Good morning girls!

Today wasy Drill Max for me but only had time for a premix and I went with the one called total body. It was a great choice for me because it cut out the first cardio sections of each circuit. I got really burned out on those in the past and started to really dislike this dvd. Now I have a new reason to love it and will have to keep this premix in my mind.

Deanie - Good luck with the drum lessons. I hope it won't be too loud for you. Ha! Do you have neighbors that live close? Sports were okay this weekend. My older ds had football on Sat. and he played well but the team lost. I actually will be surprised if they win even one game. My younger ds had soccer and flag football. He did well in both games. I even went to see my nephew's flag football game so I didn't get much accomplished at home this weekend.

Gin - Are you back from your parents? Is you son still staying with you a while longer? Hope you had a good workout in.

Marcy - What did you do this weekend? Did you do DM today?

It should be a slow work day so I'll come back this afternoon and check in on the discussion.

I did CM on Sat at my parents and enjoyed it. Burned 430 calories. Did BB yoga yesterday.

Deanie--Hope the drum lessons go well. Too bad we can't just send DS's old drum set to you. He took it apart and it's just in the closet. I did have a good visit with my parents, thank you. And got to see my brother, SIL and nephews.:)

Tracee--Glad you got DM in. My older DS moved into an apt nearby about a month ago. So it's just DH, me and the dog now.:)

Marcy--Are you ready to watch DWTS tonight? Just wish they didn't drag it out sooooo long.

Hi Girls!

Today was Drill Max for me. It's been awhile since I did this one and really enjoyed it. I find it to be a very effective workout. I used the same weights as Cathe except for the rear flys in Drill 6 - I used 5# instead of 3#. Drills 4 and 6 are always the toughest for me cardiowise. The pushups on the ball were real tough too.

Since I'm trying to incorporate more leg work, I did KM leg conditioning drills and stretch on Fri night and PLB stability ball work, stretch and Stretch Max #3 last night. The outer thigh lifts seemed a bit easier. The first leg drill in KM always seems to get to me every time. SM#3 just doesn't seem to stretch me out as well as the other two. There are a couple of good stretches but overall I feel SM1 and SM2 do a better job for me.

I'm also switching things up this week. Since there is too much cardio in this rotation for me, here's the rest of my week:

Tues - Cardio Kicks
Wed - Low Impact Circuit - Total Body Premix (47 mins. - no cardio)
Thurs - Yoga
Friday - Circuit Max

Since I just did Drill Max cardio today and BM2 cardio last week and I don't like LIC cardio, Cardio Fusion wasn't in the cards for me.

Deanie - Hope the drum lessons go well and you don't go deaf:D

Gin - How did you like Circuit Max? Did you have a nice visit with Mom? It's just me, DH and the dog for me too. I'm really looking forward to DWTS tonight. In case you're interested, here are the matchups:

Drums lessons start in 1/2 an hour, so I have a few min. of sanity left. :)

Gin~ I'm glad you had a nice visit with your family! I wish we could get your DSs drum set from you. When the time comes, we are looking into used as well as new drumsets. They are very expensive! Funny how we changed the workout and ended up doing the same thing:eek: :7 Let me tell you, you are my new hero if you can run 3 miles and then do CF!!!}( }(

Tracee~ I hope the weather was nice for you this weekend, since it seems you were outside all weekend! I never mind if the kids team loses, if my kids played well (not very "team"y of me) but it seems to make my kids take the loss better, if they know they played well.

Marcy~ Funny, drills 4 and 6 (and 1) are my favorites in DM. I hate #3!!! I like the LIC premix: total body idea, may do that if I sleep late tomorrow. I am very happy with the results I am getting/seeing from this rotation, so I want to follow it as close as possible, but personally, it is to much cardio for me. My favorite kind of rotation is 3 days weights, 3 cardio. I'm not a big fan of cardio!

Deanie - Actually Drill 3 cardio is my favorite cardio. Glad you're getting the results you wanted. Someone else over at the Collage Forum was talking about the Freestyle Leg rotation and I heard very positive comments about it. My favorite rotation is 3 days weights, 2 days cardio, 1 day of yoga. I love cardio but it kills what I'm trying to accomplish. Did you happen to buy earplugs?:7

Gin - I guess I must have missed it, but you are now the Cardio Queen if you did Cardio Fusion after running.:p
