G diapers

I just finished with my interview for a new family looking for daycare. They have a 15 month old & I noticed she was wearing something under here pants. Finally I asked them what she had on, they said she wears G diapers. They explained them to me & they seem so cool. You have this cute outer panty with a liner inside that can be washed & there is an insert inside that is what you either flush or throw out. They are biodegradable. She is doing a report for a class & did a study putting these liners & some reg diapers in their compost pile. After 15 days the liners have decomposed almost all the way where the reg diapers are still sitting there.

I tried them when Mia was a baby. 1) they are wicked expensive. 2) they are a pain in the butt. I'd recommend throwing them away b/c flushing them is rough.
I am in love w/the concept but I was looking to spend the least for something that someone is going to poop/pee in

I'll have to let you know what I think when I have to start using them. They seem to like them. I'm glad that my own boys are WAY beyond that!!

My cousin uses these for her baby. They're cute, but they make it look like the kid has a big butt.
