Today was LIC. I really enjoyed it and may do it again next week in place of Body Fusion (which I don't have) I am really enjoying this rotation, we are using a lot of circuits we haven't used in a while!
DS won his baseball game last night, the team had a triple play~ got the other team out in one shot: caught a pop fly hit, got the guy running to 3rd out and the guy running to 2nd! It was fun to watch. Drums lessons went well and DS likes the teacher, so its a go! They actually did some stuff on the drum practice pad, so it wasn't so loud.
Today was DM. Burned 530 calories. The squat thrusts and power scissors were the toughest for me. }(
Deanie--Glad your ds liked the drum lesson. It brings back such great memories. My ds played on the drum line all through high school and LOVED it. We thought he would play in college, but didn't. Great job on the baseball game! Fun to watch! You now have me doubting whether I can run and then do CF tomorrow. I'll try it and let you know!
Marcy--What did you think of DWTS last night? I thought Sabrina(Cheetah Girl) was really good and the model (Josie) not so good. All the other women were in the middle. Melanie(Spice Girl) was my 2nd favorite. With the model it just goes to show you that skinny doesn't always equal fit.;-)
I did like CM! Good core work at the end.
This morning I mixed it up and did some of KPC and the drills from KM. It was the first time doing the KM drills and I think my butt is going to me aching for a week. I hadn't known what to expect so I was a little surprised by the exercises. I was thinking it would involve cardio but was pleasantly surprised when it didn't.
Deanie - glad the drun lessons went well and the baseball game went well too. A triple play, how exciting.
Gin - Yes, you are officially the cardio queen. Unfortunately, you're in a group with people who aren't big fans of cardio.
Marcy - I would love to play soccer, especially since it is such a great workout. A friend of mine talked about getting a co-ed adult soccer team together but we couldn't work out the schedules.
Today was Cardio Kicks for me. I enjoyed it but it definitely was not as intense as KPC or KM. I burned 337 calories today, less than the last time I did it. Yesterday's Drill Max burned 512 calories which is great but I also ate like a horse .
Deanie - Congrats on your DS's game. Sounds like you should be a baseball announcer.
Gin - Yes, squat thrusts were definitely a challenge yesterday. It was fun watching DWTS last night. Sabrina Bryan was amazing and I loved Jane Seymour. She looked great and was so graceful. I think Marie was just trying to ham it up to cover up her mistakes. I don't think she was very good but she had a couple of good lines here and there. Mel B. was great too. They had a thread on VF about Josie Maran and being skinny doesn't always = being fit. She definitely looked like she was struggling through Alec's "boot camp". Glad to hear you liked CM. I'm looking forward to it. I didn't know there was core work in it.
Tracee - Yes, those leg drills will definitely make you sore. I love cardio, it's just that cardio doesn't love me.
