Dang, I missed the free brownies. I must have passed over that thread. First no cookies yesterday, now no brownies today. I too would feel so deprived, but there are so many great people on this website to make me feel better (well a cookie would really help)

Hi Melody!I have a question: Do you live in Blue Ridge?If you do,I just want to say that I love your town!!!!!!DH and I always rent cabins up there to spend holidays is so beautiful!!!!Also I had to take my driving test to get my driver's license and the first place avaible was Blue Rigde,so DH and I drove 1:30h there and I was able to take my test.The ladies who work at the DMV there were SENSATIONAL! DH even asked them if they failed the test to work at the DMV! When they asked why,he said that they were being so helpful and polite,that it was a little weird (we are used to be treated really bab around here! ).Well...just wanted to say that we really like Blue Rigde and all the people who live there!:7

Hi Alini -

Yes, well, I live about 25 miles outside of Blue Ridge and we absolutely love it here. Before moving we would rent cabins in the area for spring and summer vacations and fell in love with the area -so we moved here.

It is a small, laid back community and I believe most anyone would give you the shirt off their back. On the way home from Blue Ridge tonight my DH picked up a young couple who had run out of gas and took them home - might have hesitated to do that in Alpharetta! We get to the Atlanta and outlying areas frequently for kids DR visits and shopping. But we always come home to the cabin in the woods in the mountains.
