!!!FRIDAY -----clean/tidy----- FRIDAY!!!

Morris, I feel for you. I have some bizarre proportions too and it's hard to find things that fit. I have big boobs, little waist, big butt. Not complaining, LOVE my curves, but it's hard. Could you get something that is two pieces that would be dressy enough? Let me think on this... Do you run in Mizunos? I know several women who do. I cannot tell you how good they feel. A Benjamin well spent!

cute shoes, katie! me love lemon curd!!!!

katie, i have 2 pairs of the alchemy 8's i am about to retire. i love these shoes and have worn them for the last 3 years. used asics gel kayano's before that. i LOVE running shoes. wha is on tap for the rest of your day?

kate, i knew we'd convert you to running:D:D good luck with the compnay:confused:

lisa, where are you?

yeah, lisa, we know you're just sleeping in!:p

morris, whats the occasion you're shopping for? or are you just closet-depleted like me?:p

headed to the chiro...stiff neck/headache/shoulder blade. im a mess!

Have fun at the chiro, Kate! Can I let you know about 6/20? I don't know if I'm in town that weekend. Jim took his schedule to go to his mom's to work with him because he has to do the summer weekend schedule today. He gets to say who works when, what power!

Morris, I'm not tempted by STS yet, I'm really concentrating on training for the half marathon. I know you run that mileage easily, but I'm intimidated by it. I did a total of 8 miles this week and I go up to 10 miles for the next two weeks. My "long" run next week is 4 miles. I honestly can't remember the last time I ran that far. I'm getting nervous about it all, but it'll be fine, right? As long as I'm consistent I know I can do it.

Robin, high five! Are you going to bask in your STS awesomeness for a while? I would. Or are you going back to your kettlebells?

Katie, cute shoes! I can only wear Asics. I try other brands and nothing else works for me. In fact, I bought my normal size in narrow last time and I've never had shoes that feel so good and fit so well. I know perfectly well that I have narrow feet, so why didn't I try narrow ones before? Who knows. I have very narrow feet and very high arches, so I need lots of cushioning. I'm glad you're enjoying your day today!

Colleen, busy weekend on tap, huh? I hope your allergies ease up for you.

Hi, Klaudia, Lisa, and Angie!

Oh, and Kate, did you say yesterday you don't like fried food? I'm jealous. You could deep fry a shoelace and I would eat it. With a side of restaurant ranch, natch, right, Klaudia?

anne

LOL at the shoelace Anne! Ranch dressing is equally appalling to me!:p Probably more so!
No biggie on the 5k. Let me know if you can and I'll send you the race form. I do 3 miles in CC all the time - this shouldnt be much dofferent....right? Right? Right??!?:p:eek::p:eek::p:p:p

Back from the chiro...feel so much better!!!

Absolutely, Kate, the amount you work out you could probably run a 10K tomorrow without much trouble. And I know what you meant earlier--I'd be embarrassed to lift with any of you since you all lift much more than I do. I'll get my weights up there one day, it's just not in the cards right now. Maintaining is fine for me at this point.

I hope everyone has a good evening! I don't know if I'll be back. I have tap and then home alone. Jim is going to his mom's, but I opted to stay home this weekend. My brother and I are going to my parents together tomorrow to celebrate Mother's Day. We're going here:

My dad wanted to take mom somewhere nicer than usual for M Day. Isn't that sweet? We'll have a nice time. Then I get most of Sunday to myself, I have magazines to read! I'm looking forward to it. Catch you all on the flip side!

anne

I need some major vibes here!!
Headed down to do Squat Rack Legs from Meso 3.
I think I can, I think I can!
I know I can, I know I can!!!!!

Thanks, Katie!!!

I did it!!! It went surprisingly fast!
During the breaks I sorted thru old clothes of Gina's that are in tubs! ha! while stretching, of course!:D

Hi ladies!! Sorry for just checking-in now, but I went to work early this am. Its been so busy at work that I don't have any internet time there. Boo, but grateful to still have a job. I got home and had to feed the baby then cook dinner before DH left for work. I have to go back and catch up on the posts. I did eat a red velvet cupcake (small one) at work. A coworker made them from scratch. Anyway, that is my cheat for the week. It actually helped because I have no more sweet cravings! Meals were good. I'll be back with personals. Gotta feed the kiddos. Oh and check on the pears I'm steaming for the baby!

Lisa

Katie - What a great DH you have! I love when they "fit" you for shoes. My DH and I did that a few years back when we were both into running. They told us to bring in our running shoes and they looked at the wear and tear as well as how we walked. Cool, new shoes you have there!

Kate - A fourth??? That's all that is ringing through my head right now, lol! Sorry about the unexpected visitor. Hope it wasn't too bad.

Klaudia - Allergies stink! Hope you feel better.

Robin - How sweet of your kids with all the gifts! I'm sure they know you like the show and that is why they got you the book.

Morris - Hope you find an outfit. I have issues also finding clothes. I have thin legs, wide hips, med waist, small boobs, and broad shoulders. Did you try an A-line type of dress?

Anne - Too cool about your 1/2 marathon training. Don't worry, as long as you stay consistent, you will get there.

I ended up making homemade pizza for dinner tonight. Kids were happy. I got in touch with my friend who teaches kickboxing, and I'm thinking of going to one of her classes. It's a bit away from home, but not too bad when there is no traffic. She's actually teaching at the medical center/hospital where I gave birth. It's a hospital and women's healthcare center. Her classes kick butt, and I was the thinnest when I was taking her class twice a week. Anyhoo, what is everyone's mother's day plans??
