I start doing Freestyle Training about 6 wks ago, well the first 2 weeks I did the workouts in the book, since then I have been using Cathe's lower body workout for this, and someone told me to post this rotation here, so here it goes......

MONDAY : Ab work, PLB, 40 minute run
TUESDAY: AB work, Legs & Glutes leg press mania, 40 minute run
WED: AB work, rest
THURS: AB work, Legs & Glutes leg press mania, 40 minute run
FRIDAY: AB work, PLB, 40 minute run
SATURDAY: AB work, PS Legs, 40 minute run
SUNDAY: AB work, rest ....... maybe another run depending on how I
feel.

I know that this is not for many people, but it works for me. Someone asked me to post it here, so I am........ I am 44 5'2" ....
have a great day........ you can put your workouts which ever way you want them, but with Freestyle Training your suppose to do 4-6 lower body works a week, with 2 upper body workouts, the upper body workouts don't have to be 30 minutes long, just as long as you get the upper body in too, weight workouts are followed by cardio, this is suppose to stop the body from gaining lg muscle mass, to have a slender lower body... I use the same weight cathe uses in her workouts
well, thats it for now, can't think of anything else to add .... hope this helps someone ...... Rhonda:7

Hi Rhonda,

Thanks for sharing. If you bought the George Snyder book can you tell me where you got it. I've only been able to find it on gsnyderproductions.com. I thought it would be available at Barnes & Noble or Borders.

Thanks,

Diana

Rhonda,

Thanks for writing the rotation out. I was just reading about this and was going to start with 3 days of lower body. I have the slim series lower body tape and was going to rotate with Cathe's Leg & glutes. Need to get the lower half down.

Thanks again (good name!)
Rhonda

HI Gals,
Can you tell me what kind of results you have seen with this, or have you been doing it long enough?
It sounds good to me.I am always doing what I feel like doing for that day and this sort of looks like something I could easily follow.
Lori:)

Very interesting.
I have been happy with my results except for my thighs so I am going to give this a try. Right now I lift my legs only 2-3 times per week and upper body 3 times per week. So thanks for sharing and am going to try this out.
Is this something that you do ongoing or only for a rotation period for a certain number of weeks?

Well my weight is down where I want it now at 105 lbs, and my hips are 34 1/2 inches and I am working on getting them to 33 inches or lower.......... I can now wear a size 5 Jr levis jeans ....... I am happy with my results ...... Rhonda

lax lover ... I usually do 5 to 6 of those workouts a week and in no certain order except I usually don't do Legs & Glutes 2 days in a row, I put one of the other workout inbetween ... and I have been doing this for a about 2 1/2 months ...... I am not the type to get bored with my workouts......... Hope this helps.... Rhonda

I dont see any upper body workouts on this rotation. Are you skipping them? Also, how do your abs do with no rest days?

Upper body workouts can be done with leg workouts or separate, I usually do mine separate, 2 a week, and ABS I work everyday...... Rhonda

I've read a few posts about Freestyle training for women. I don't understand how you can work legs that many days in a row? doesn't it go against everything we've learned about resting at least a day in between weight workouts? Can someone explain?

Hi Rhonda,

Wow!!! Thats amazing.. When doing the Lower Body Exercises, do you use the "HIGH STEP"? Right now, my thighs are getting leaner and thicker but I do not want them to go thicker..

Thanks Katheen

Katheen, yes I use a 12 inch step stool, I don't have a high step, and you just lower your weights if you have trouble bulking..... Rhonda:7

Thanks a lot Rhonda, I will definitely lower my weights. If you do not mind, how many pounds have you lost since you started the freestyle training? I am trying to get rid of the last 10 pounds but it is extremly difficult. I do exercise 5-6 days a week, using Cathe tapes, going to a step class at work and running.

Kathee

:)

Kathee, I have lost 11 lbs since about the 1st or 2nd week of Febuary when I started all this.............. Rhonda

Can you split up your exercise within the day? Abs and PLB in the morning and in the evening, go for a run or vice-versa? Is it necessary or beneficial to do all of it at one shot?

Thanks

Katheen, all I know is what I read, and it read that cardio after weight training compromises the bodies ability to build lg muscle mass..... you could email this lady, her name is Geri and ask her she is a Freestyle Trainer... [email protected] ... Rhonda:7
