Freestyle training for women

Just wondering- Does Freestyle mean working lower body with weights for all those days...or would something like IMAX or IMAX2 which has a lot of power moves for legs, be considered working your lower body??? In Legs and Glutes....the power squats and the walking lunges with power scissors really zap ya and they are without weights...??? Just wondering??:)

RE: Hi Rebecca .. luv2 ...

Rhonda,

I'm jealous because I still haven't received mine. Actually, I spoke to George Snyder personally yesterday. He is the man that developed the Freestyle training philosophy and wrote the book. He said that they are currently revising the book and it should ship out next week sometime. I think they have combined the Freestyle information with some of the Galaxy competition information. I'll let you know as soon as I get it! In the meantime I've been doing the following:

Mon - Pyramid Upper/Lower Body Bonus Combo, Abs
Tue - 3 sets of 5 different types of lunges (20 reps) = total 300
plus Imax2 intervals 6-10, Abs
Wed - Boot Camp (includes cardio, lower body, upper body & abs)
Thur - 3 sets of 5 different types of lunges (20 reps) = total 300
plus Imax2 intervals 1-5, Abs
Fri - Pyramid Upper/Lower Body Bonus Combo, Abs
Sat - 3 sets of 5 different types of lunges (20 reps) = total 300
plus Imax2 intervals 6-10 or Blast Only premix, Abs
Sun - Rest

So far I can see some nice results. I have basically been doing heavy weights every other day, then the lower body lunge movements without weights in between. Believe me, it is very tough even without weight because of all the repititions.

I am following my own workout routine with cathe's dvd's, I do the 4 days of leg exercises and 2 in between of full body workouts and cardio, I also do some floor exercises to boot............. Rhonda :7
