FreeStyle/Lower Body Check in

Good Morning Ladies....Beverly, where are you?? I hope all is well. I have noticed you are not here. Is your dad ok??

My lower back has been sore. I am going to lower my weights a smudge more. I am going to do PUB, up only, PLB, up only, C&W's Heavy weights, and the Blast Mania, and some abs. That should be plenty for today.

I got on the scale this morning and I am still up one lb. from before my last cycle 3 weeks ago. I really did not think I ate that bad, but I must be wrong. I am not going to let the scale deter me though. I am eating good, and working out, so I am doing good. I am scared to go to Chicago with my mom. I am going to really watch my eating. I can just hear her, "Do you have to diet all the time?" She has already told me "We are not counting points." Well, I am not saying a thing, and I am just going to eat as healthy as I can. I have just seen what 3 days of not the greatest of eating can do to my body and the scale, I do not want to make it worse again!!!! I can tell I am getting stronger though. The leg work in L&G's is easier!!!! Take care.

Good morning everyone,

Sunday was PS upper body and about 20 minutes of PS lower body, quit just before floor work. This morning was cardio only because I did not work out on Saturday. Hubby and I have been working on the house and I spent most of the day painting a bathroom (Ugh!)

Tomorrow will be L&G and KP&C. My legs are also feeling much stronger.

I also noticed Beverly hadn't posted. I also hope her Dad is alright. Wasn't her husband supposed to be leaving for Iraq soon?

You go girl, you can do it:7 I am just like anyone else I had some wine late saturday night and pretzels and didn't get my ab work in yesterday or my rope squats or cardio in and I am up 2 lbsx( .. but I will fix that :7 ...
I am sticking to my same rotation from last week, AB, work, butt exercises from freestyle book and cardio. I will be glad when my core secrets gets here so I can see how I am gonna like it :7

Good morning ladies!

Well, I'm back in the saddle. This morning was PUB (up only), PLB (up only, leg press and lunges), a Firm 5 minute ab segment, and thenlunchtime will be a long, fast walk. I am surprised at how much strength I have lost in just one week. Still holding fast to my weight loss from the stomach flu, so I am almost where I want to be. Now I want to lose 2 more pounds and firm it all up.

Still waiting for my "Freestyle" book. Hopefully, I will get it this week.

Hi Ladies,

It sounds like everyone is getting in some good workouts. I did get in three lower body workouts last week and two upper body.

Yesterday I did an interval run and tonight is another run and L&G.

My dad is doing chemo and radiation right now for four weeks and then he will have surgery to have most of his tongue cut out and his larnyx. I will be going back home to Indiana next week for the week to be with my mom and dad.

My husband leaves the middle of May for Iraq.
I am just trying to hang in there right now. Thanks for asking.

Shopgirl, it sounds like you had quite a flu!!! I am sure your strength will be back before you know it.

I ordered the freestyle book, but I have not received it yet.

Wow Beverly! You sure have lots on your plate right now. Good for you for keeping up with your workouts. I am sure that helps tremendously. Thinking of you and saying EXTRA prayers. Be sure to thank your hubby for us for all he is doing!!!

Gosh, Beverly - I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I hope his recovery will go well.

I echo what Debbie said ...God bless both you and your husband. As everyone knows, it's not just the soldiers who are doing a service for our country, their families at home carry much of the burden as well. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this hard time.

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all had a great weekend. As usual we try to squeeze so much in on the weekends. I was able to do PLB and PUB on Saturday, and Sunday did L&G plus abs. This morining was IMAX2 and I will be heading to the gym for leg wts and 20 min or so of cardio.

I really overdid it today. I did PUB, down only, C&W's compound and whatever, PLB, down only, then Imax Blast Mania. I have to find a way to get my lower and upper body days to work together with out it taking me FOREVER. I wonder if the book says cardio is necessary every day. Rhonda??

Lori, Wow what a workout. Good job!

Today, I’m a little under the weather myself, I’m not sick or anything, just so many ISSUES. The way that I am feeling, I could really appreciate a good workout when I get home. I’m going for PLB and a short cardio afterwards.

Yesterday, I just didn’t have it in me to workout. ATE, SLEEP, ATE, ATE, ATE the whole weekend. My sister stayed over 5 days. Yesterday, I threw her out my home and her cupcakes ;o) She’s a SERIOUS sweet eater, me too. But not like this woman. When I stepped on the scale this morning sad to say, I’m up three lbs. And I was doing so good.

Today, I’ll be doing some flushing, to get the sugar out of my system. I think it takes a couple of days or so. I stated the WW program once again on today, so far things are going good. One things for sure, WW truly let me know how much extra eating that I been during, everything is points. I had good success with WW before, going to give another try.

I haven't been around much - work got the better of me - but back to sane (I'm in project management so it was one of those peaks) life again.

Did SJP yesterday, L&G today.

Teddygirl, my daughter is doing WW bu isnt getting the quick results she hoped for. Of course she was away last week and didnt get to chose where they ate.

I have been doing WW's for about 2 months again. I always try everything, but always come back to WW's. It, to me, is the most livable plan. I am not seeing profound results either. I have lost about 4 lbs. in 2 months. I had one bad PMS week, and I went off the wagon for 3 days. I gained back 3 lbs., and have been really having a hard time relosing it. I am going to keep going though. I also think with these rotations, I have been adding alot of muscle. I can see that my "love handles" are getting smaller, and I can feel my hip bones back there, where before I could not. I would like to drop about another 6 lbs., and I would be happy.

Today I am going to do L&G's, and probably TS #1 cardio. I will also work some abs in there.

Beverly- Thinking about you girl!!!! Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I STILL do not have the book. I am kinda getting a little discouraged. I have not received an email, nothing. I ordered it last week Sat.

I did L&G last night and the SJP cardio only. Good workout.

I also got my Freestyle training book in the mail yesterday!

I glanced through it, but did not get to read much yet.

It will be a run for me tonight and some ab work.

Tonight, I’m going to do The Video by Gin Millet & MIS lower body. My girlfriend let me borrow it. I use to have The Video and loved the workout. She’s doing the Slim 6 series with great results. What are you guys doing today?

From reading Geri's story on www.bodybuilding.com/fun/gideons12.htm.
She only did cardio 3x a week, then upped it a little during the last weeks of her weight loss......... I do it everyday cause I am in a habit of doing it that way. You really should read her story if you haven't, she has alot of info there, could answer some of your questions, you could also email her or Sherry with questions that I can't answer.
I don't know if anyone has ever tried this but it works for me, I heard it on the Early Show, eating an apple(large) with your meal helps weight loss, IT DOES... because an apple is very filling but have alot of water in them and fiber and vitamins..... if you like apples you should try it........ hth's ... This morning I did L&G ankle weight work (20 minutes) and KP&C (40 minutes).

I ordered my book yesterday and hope to get it by the end of the week.

Wow, you are all doing so great!! Beverly, that's a lot for you to be dealing with right now, I hope everything turns out as wonderful as it possibly can.

Yesterday I did The Firm Lower Body Sculpting, some ab work, Cathe's PS Chest Shoulders Triceps Biceps, and then later on 60 minutes on the treadmill.

Today I plan to do MIS and probably some cardio of some sort. I'm applying the Lower Body Solution to my whole body!

Hi Ladies -

Well, I can't explain it, but I took all last week off, lost 6 pounds from the stomach flu, kept 4 off, and then weighed myself this morning and have lost another pound. Sheesh - I work out like crazy for months, and lose nothing, then get sick, take a week off and lose weight - go figure!

Did KPC this morning. Still tire pretty easily, but I'm workin' it.
