Free KFC Coupons

I have no idea what is in KFC's grilled chicken, but the side dishes are going to make up for any calories saved on the chicken.
It's just another way to trick people into thinking they are eating healthy.
 
We went to KFC during a road trip and I thought I would try the grilled chicken. My order was going to take 9 minutes so the lady brought me out an "Oven Roasted Chicken Breast" which was very good and she said it was around 100 calories. Now, they forgot about me and I had to have the grilled chicken to-go and to my surprise; it's pretty much the same chicken but grilled with BBQ sauce instead of deep fried. The evil but oh so good skin and bone in is still there. It was good but why pay more when I am taking the skin off anyway? The commercial tricked me into thinking I was going to get a bucket of skinless, boneless, breasts? WTH.

So the next time you are forced to eat at KFC see if the have Oven Roasted it was skinless, boneless, lightly seasoned and very good. It will definatly balance the coleslaw, biscit and gravey ;).

I just got an email from my sister. An area church is collecting these coupons for the homeless.

I agree ~ KFC is an interesting choice.
 
I was thinking the same thing Cynthia... the pic shows mashed potatoes with gravy, a biscuit and coleslaw, lol... that's not any healthier, unless they count the coleslaw as a vegetable.

healthy or not, I still wouldn't eat it knowing they don't treat their chickens humanely. :(
 
I think that KFC probably contacted Oprah and wanted to do this and she agreed. With today's economic climate, who would turn away a company that wanted to give something away?? Plus, she said on her show yesterday that a piece of the chicken is approx. 100 calories.

I suspect poor souls without homes would prefer the KFC but I'll stick to bringing fresh veggies from the garden to them (once the garden is ready to go!) and not raise their cholesterol.
 
Agreed here...when you are hungry and your pockets are empty, a free meal would sound pretty good. Cheers KFC on a free meal giveaway IMHO. I will print and take to the Care and Share tonight. :)
 
I don't blame you, Melanie. If our local pizza place was giving away a couple of slices, I'd probably get in line. :eek: Oh, pizza...how I love thee.

Why can't our chocolatier give some free Grand Marnier truffles away? :mad: :p
 
My dear mother and friend would take trips to Sams club around lunch time just for the free food samples. They would circle the store samples a few times and consider that free entertainment(shopping) & lunch.
I would just shake my head. Now that I think about of it, I just smile. My mom was so funny:p.

Hysterical!

Back when Roseanne had her sitcom there was a segment where she told her kids something like "Remember kids, it's good to eat your dinner at the grocery store..." At the time they were snapping up samples all over the place.

In this economy I know those sample ladies are seeing some heavy traffic on the weekends :p.

Oh! And Sam's Club has best samples in the world. I"ve taken my family there for lunch. lol

Personally, I think KFC is uber disgusting and if I were to splurge I'd go for the gusto at a much snazzier establishment (which isn't saying much compared to KFC..LOL!). But hey, if the Colonel is calling and you feel compelled to answer don't forget to pack the TUMS ;)
