Fran Drescher's book...help please

I really want to get a copy of the book Enter Whining by Fran Drescher but can't seem to get hold of a copy in England. Sigh. Tried amazon.co.uk and they don't have it :-( I think she's so great. I was wondering if anyone knows where i might be able to get a copy? Any info would be most welcome...thank you.
 
half.com? I don't know if they ship overseas, but I buy every book from them. Cancer Schmancer was good too.
 
Thanks. They only have used one's for sell (not that i'm moaning!) so might give it a go. Amazon.co.uk have on used for sell from a seller at £78!!! or $102...i think not! x
 
I just bought three books from half.com, but they were all new. If you can get them in "like new" or "very good" condition, they are usually in very nice shape. And a bit better than $102!!!

I was just wondering what you like about Fran! I have never heard of anyone liking her before. Most people I know find her annoying. (I personally think she's OK. ;) )

She's had a pretty amazing life. She was raped, beat cancer, and has a pretty good outlook on life. I never watched the Nanny, never liked her voice or laugh, but in a book, you don't have to listen to her.
 
I really admire her too, Jillybean. She has overcome tremendous odds that a lot of people knew nothing about. You get used to the voice after a while, and it was part of her character on "The Nanny". I do like her Old Navy ads that are running right now too!

I'm dating myself here ... but does anyone else remember her as Connie in "Saturday Night Fever"? It was a very small part.

I just think she's "special"... i remember seeing her on a talk show and she was just like in The Nanny. And i liked that about her. She is what she is and makes no appologies. I like that about people. I haven't read the book and dearly want to get hold of a copy... so i'm hoping i can find one as everywhere is out of print. Sigh... if anyone should have a copy i would be more than happy to buy if off them should they be willing to sell it.

Have you tried Ebay? THey have about 7 scopies running about US$15 per copy. Once copy was about US$30, but it is supposed to be an autographed copy. I've bought a lot of books, CDs and DVDs from Ebay (including out-of-print Cathe videos!), and have never had any problems. On Ebay, people are auctioning Fran Drescher wine bottles and talking dolls. Good luck!!
