**FOXY FUSIONISTAS FAB FEBRUARY**

This morning I did a dumbbell complex::

10 alternating goblet lateral lunges
5 goblet squats
5 goblet reverse lunges right
then 5 left
and last but not least...
20 db swings
x 8 rounds!

Good morning beauties!

Yesterday's CrossFit workout was AWFUL!! I don't even want to write it down. I'm such a baby sometimes. :D Okay, okay...here it is.

Warm Up: 2 Rounds of - crab walk down; 20 stripper; crab walk back;
20 arm hauler

Skill: 30 Wall Balls, rest 1 minute, 20 wall balls, rest 1 minute, 10 wall balls

WOD (For Time): 20 thrusters; 20 power cleans; 20 Shoulder To Overhead; 20 Overhead Squats; 20 front squat - EVERY MINUTE ON THE MINUTE 5 burpees. I think this took me about 15 minutes, maybe longer. I truly don't remember. I think I started to zone out. It was awful, awful, awful. I started with a 45# barbell and dropped to 35#. Truly my form wasn't so great on the last 10 front squats, so now I feel like I cheated. I hate that feeling. It wasn't intentional cheating, though! It was more like pure exhaustion...finish or die (i'm only being slightly dramatic this morning, lol). :)

Wendy: Excellent workout yesterday! I couldn't remember for the life of me what a goblet squat was, but don't worry, I googled it. :) Does it work the muscles differently then say a regular squat using 2 dumbbells or a barbell?

Hi Ladies. :)

I slept like poop last night so no work out for me this morning. Got extra shut eye instead. Might be a blessing in disguise too as my my legs n azz are soooooooo SORE from y'day's work out!!!!Cowabunga!:eek::eek:

So after having such great will power and not ordering P90X3, I caved on another ALMOST as pricey program! Tracy Anderson's Metamorphosis: Abcentric.

Katie:: Goblet squats are good for teaching proper squatting form b/c they set you up in a position that is less likely to result in injury. It also gives you a target so to speak for squatting depth - getting your elbows to meet your knees with good form. It also places the weight at the chest which is a much more stable position for the body then having the weight on your back or even up by your shoulders. This is helpful for people with a weak core who might risk tipping over at the bottom of a squat otherwise. HTH. :) Okay now will you PLEASE explain your striptease acts at Cross Fit!?! (STRIPPER exercise!?) Sounds like a brutal WOD. Don't feel bad for not acing it. Just do better next time! I know that you can! :) I only have one more TT work out left until I move on to something new. I was going to do Drop Two Sizes but now that I have a new system on the way IDK what I want to do!:confused::confused: WAAAHHHHH! LMAO at you wanting to be Thor's wife! I personally would love to be Ironman's wife! ;) LOL re your niece and nephew ice skating. We took Joey ice skating when he was probably 5 or 6 and he cried the entire time. He was petrified! He never fell b/c he wouldn't let go! LOL This time he took his lumps like a man the first time we went and the second time he did soooo much better! Now he wants a pair of ice skates of his own for his Birthday! :D

Wiggie:: You've been doing some great work outs! Thankfully the sickness passed after just one day. Whew!

OK - Tonight I did the work out that I slept through this morning! Here it is::

TT Wk 4 Day3::

4@10/20 - jacks...
8@10/20 - bw squats
4@10/20 - push ups
6@10/20 - split lunge jumps
4@10/20 - spiderman climbs
6@10/20 - trx row or run in place (I subbed in a band row)

then TT optional Conditioning Ladder::

8 Burpees - 8 Split Shuffles per side (16 total) - 8 Total Body Extensions
Then 7 of each then 6 of each...etc until you get to 1 of each. As little rest as possible. :)

Hello!! :)

This morning I went on a 2 mile run on that blasted treadmill. Hate that thing. I followed up with 10 minutes of core conditioning and a foam roller stretch.

Yesterday's CrossFit workout went like this:

Warm-up:
1min jump rope
15 side leg swing
15 samson
15 stripper
15 figure 8's
15 hip bridge
15pass through

Skill: Snatch (35#), EMOMx15

first 5 min: 4 snatches

second 5 mins: 2 power snatches + 2 touch-and-go (tng) snatches

final 5 min: 4 tng snatches

WOD: Tabata (4 minutes per exercise 10x20)
Toes to Bar
Box Jumps
Row for cals
Shoulder to Overhead (35#)

Wendy: So was yesterday's TT workout your last one?? If so, congrats on finishing!! I'm so incredibly impressed that you got it done last night after a bad night of sleep. I can't seem to do anything when sleep eludes me. I LOL at your post re: purchasing a new workout system. We are all workout addicts for sure. :p;) Make sure to post your reviews of the program! Normally I'd go check it out but i'm tryingggggg to be good and not purchase anything new until I get back from Ukraine. OH! I forgot to explain the CrossFit stripper stretch. Okay, stand straight up and then bend into a squat position and put your hands on the top of your feet. Your weight is a little more forward than it would be in a squat and your elbows are on the inside of your legs/knees. Now, keeping your hands on your feet, straighten and bend your legs. Each straighten/bend is a rep. It is similar to a forward bend in yoga except instead of holding the stretch you are straightening and bending your legs. There's a mother/daughter duo that attend my CrossFit class and when day I heard the mother accuse of the daughter of not doing her "strippers". Of course I cracked up.:)

This morning I did 3 timed mini circuits:

Get Ups - 4@15/1:00
Split Stance Squat w/One Arm Shldr Press & Inverted Rows - 8@15/30
Plank to Push Ups - 4@30/30 ...

Short but not easy!:)

Hey Ladies. :)

Another not so great night last night so I slept in which means no work outs for me. Can't do it later either - work calls!

So I am impatiently waiting for my TA workouts to arrive! :p In the meantime I am agonizing over weather or not I should try to add in some weight training circuits to the rotation or not. I probably wouldn't worry so much if I hadn't just laid off the weights for a month with TT and then crippled myself with weights when I finally used them the other day!:p Thing is, I don't want to interfere with the results of TA so I'm not sure what I should do....

Katie:: Nice work outs! Yes, that was my last TT work out. I didn't finish the rotation as it's 3 months long but I stuck with it for a month which is good for me and makes me happy. :p The stripper stretch is similar to something called a Toe Touch Squat that we do at the Studio! That's a funny story re the mother n daughter! LOL I will definitely keep y'all posted on my TA work outs once I start them!:D

Hola mi Amigas!!

My workouts went like this:
Sat: Strong Push

Sun: Fire 30(me & DD)

Mon: Ignite(Firm)

Tue: Total Synergistics

Wed: Agility X & X3 Yoga

Thu: No workout, working tonight

Wendy:I wish I could skate, looks like a lot of fun. Skaters always have very nice legs. Congrats on finishing TT. Very proud of you, sticking with it despite temptation.;) If only I would follow your example.:p I do goblet squats often but without weight. They are supposed To promote flexibility in the hips. So you ordered Abcentric, I’ve never been tempted by that system. I would have to order Hipcentric if I were. Very interested in your results.
.

Katie: I give P90X3 two thumbs up!! There are plenty of moves in it that I’ve never done before. You & Wendy are more hardcore than I am & have probably seen & done them before. Sorry about CrossFit,:( you were just having an off day. I think an 11 minute mile is great!!

TGIF!!

Today's is my rest day, so no workout for me. Yesterday's CrossFit workout was an interesting one. After the normal-type warm-up we worked on rope climbs. I've never attempted to climb a rope before. It took me several tries to figure it out, but I did it!:eek: All the way to the top. I was (and still am) so proud of myself. And then I climbed that stupid rope 5 more times during the actual WOD. I've got the rope burn on my hands and shins to prove it. :p;) Yesterday's WOD was actually relatively easy compared to all the crazy stuff we've been doing this week. WOD: 2000m row, 80 situps, 60 walking lunges, 40 pushups, and 5 rope climbs. It took me about 23 minutes to complete.

Wiggie: So glad to hear you're enjoying your new P90x3 workouts!! Maybe i'll just venture over to Google and see what P90x3 is all about. ;) I highly doubt i'm more hardcore than you...I've never done TWO Cathe workouts in one day before. :p;)

Wendy: Have you thought about seeing a doctor about your sleep issues? Maybe there is something you can do/take that might help. Hmmm, you know i'm a strong advocate for weight training, so I vote yes to adding in some weight circuits. If anything, maybe wait and preview the TA workouts. Then you can make a more informed decision about adding additional weight circuits.

Quick work out and weigh in report::

This morning I did Tracy Anderson's Transformer Series Muscle work out # 1.:eek::eek:

My weigh in made me happy...I'm down 1.6# and .7% bf from last Friday and 4.6# and 1.3% BF total so far! :D

Got my Tracy Meta workouts in the mail this afternoon. I plan on starting them tmrw!

BBL!
