Happy Birthday to me!! (12/26):p

My workout Tuesday was Max from Aerobox & my Christmas day workout was Lean Legs from JNL. We are out of town for two days to celebrate so as of yet I haven't worked out. We'll see if I get around to it. :):D;) Hope you're enjoying the holiday!!:cool: The time stamp says 12:33am on the 27th, but it is actually 12/26 at 7:45 pm here.:confused:

Katie: I really like the pull up band, it's by LifeLine. I can't do 30:eek: like you, but I can do about 10. I loved your last comments, very sweet!!:) Congrats on your 5k!!

Hello!!

I didn't get around to working out while we were out of town:eek:, so today so far I've done JNL's Shoulder Shredder & now I'm about to do Fusion Lower Body.

Hope you're having a great weekend!!:)

ETA: I did complete FLB + 50 tricep kickbacks & 100 bicep curls right after SS.

Today's workout so far was Rockout Knockout. I did the whole workout holding 1lb weights. I really enjoyed it.

Hello gals!!!

Thursday I went to CrossFit. I can't remember the warmup, but the workout was a two-parter... 21/15/9 burpees + KB swings (26#) - 3 minute rest - 21/18/15/12/9/6/3 of sumo squat/shoulder raise + push-ups + air squats.

Friday I went on a 2 mile run with my puppy dog + 10 minutes of medicine ball abs + foam roller stretch.

Saturday - no workout (unplanned rest day)

Sunday - IMAX 3

I'm taking the next 3 days off work so checking in will continue to be sparse. Sorry! I spend so much time on the computer at work that when I'm off I tend to avoid it. ;)

Wiggle - Happy Belated Birthday!!!!!! Hope you enjoyed your special day. You've been rocking the workouts lately. Great job!

Wendy - Are you feeling any better? I sure hope so! No New Years plans yet, but I'm sure I'll think of something fun to do. :D
 
Hello Ladies.

Back in the game after more then a week off and I felt it! :eek:

10 reps of each exercise x 3 rounds. Resting only after each round for 1 minute....

Front Squat - Barbell
Bent Over Row - Barbell
Dead Lift - Barbell
Stability Ball Kneeling Forward Roll (subbed in SB for BB)

This was the first of the work outs in the Challenge Complexes online Program I purchased a few weeks back.

Shoulder isn't 100% yet but much better then it was. I was able to perform all of these exercises with no trouble. Push ups still aren't doable though....

I'm checking in at night. Craziness I know. :) Went to Crossfit today. Started with 15 smurfees (burpee + 3 low jacks), then 3 rounds of 3 muscle cleans, 3 front squats, 10 pass-throughs, and 10 strippers (light weights, all warmup). After that, bunch of stretches.

Next we did 1RM front squats - I did 105 pounds, my PR.

Finally, 3 rounds of 10 chest-2-bar, 10 front squats (55#), and 10 burpees.

Overall, not that bad!

Wendy - welcome back!!! How was your week off? Great job getting back in the game. Sorry to hear your shoulder is still giving you fits. Boo on that! My shoulder took quite awhile to heal last Spring. I found doing the 100 rep scarecrow challenge helped.
 
Hey Ladies. :)

This morning's work out was the 2nd of the Challenge Barbell Complexes Program....It looks like this::

6 reps of 6 exercises x 4-6 rounds. I did 4 rounds. Up to 1 minute rest between rounds....

Bent Over Row, Deadlift, High Pull, Front Squat, Push Press, Weighted Burpee with a Push Up.

I am pretty sore from y'day's work out, btw!:)

Katie:: Nice work out! Any plans for NYE? Thanks re my shoulder. The only thing I appear to still be having trouble with b/c of my shoulder is a push up which is OK. I stay shallow. Eventually I'll get back to where I was. I have come leaps and bounds from where I was! I have indian clubs and a couple of kb exercises up my sleeve to help my shoulder. Thanks for the tip on the scarecrows as well though! Always helpful! :)

Monday's workout was Fire 55 EZ & Tuesday's workout was a 1.7 mile run on the treadmill. I went to my brother's house for a visit & took advantage of the opportunity. ;) I am a beginner when it comes to running, it took me 20 min to do 1.7 miles. I looked online & that wasn't considered too bad.:rolleyes: The hardest part was just staying on the tm, it was kind of boring.:confused: Having company while I did it helped.

Katie: Thanks for the birthday wishes!!:) I understand about the computer, I feel the same way sometimes. Great job sticking with CrossFit!! Yay for DOMS!:D

Wendy: Glad you're back! Sorry about your shoulder, mine gives me trouble from time to time also. Re plans, just gonna chill & watch the ball drop.:cool: How about you?
