Last night we upgraded to the latest vesion of our forum software. This should fix most of the "bugs" from 1.1.
Private messaging is now working so you can now send private messages to any forum member who has this feature turned on. We have also fixed the problem with posting "smiley faces". We still have some tweaking and testing to do, but everything looks like it is at least working now.
