For those that have purchased Cathe's stability ball...

How is the quality? Is it really firm? I like my stability balls to be firm. I don't like them to be "soft textured" and mushy. Does the texture look like one solid piece of material or does it appear to be molded out of pellets, giving a pebbled appearance? I hope that makes sense. (if anyone has the stability ball that came with Cathe's mini step, ball, tubing, weights set, the firmness of that one is great and I'd like to compare it to that stability ball)

Also, has anyone purchased the pink or red ball? If the ball meets the above quality, I want to buy the 55cm one (pink or red). I can't decide which color-----(geesh, I'm a nerd, lol!)

If anyone can help me out here, I'd appreciate it. I've been waffling back & forth about getting this but I would like to know more info first.

The stability ball is very firm (I fill it to the point where it kinda hurts my chest when I'm lying on it during Drill Max's rear flys.). It's of much better quality that the FIRM ball I own, and the texture does not appear pebbled in any way.

It also comes with a foot pump, which is much easier than using a hand pump.

I used "Cathe's balls" at the Road Trip (LOL, sorry to be so immature, but I can't help but laugh at that) and they are VERY firm. I am hoping that Santa will bring me one!

Okay, I examined the surface yesterday.

It's kinda sparkly actually. It doesn't feel weird, but it sparkles a bit when the light hits it a certain way. Upon closer examination (something I never thought to do before), it does look pebbled, but the material is so darn heavy, and the ball itself is so firm when inflated, it sure feels like one solid piece of material. Compared to my FIRM ball, it even feels a bit heftier.

I didn't find the foot pump easy to use as a foot pump ~ it didn't want to sit nicely on the floor, and the needle kept coming out of the ball. However, when I held the needle in the ball with one hand and pumped air with the other hand by pushing down on the foot pump, the ball inflated very quickly.

The ball also needed time to stretch a bit, so it didn't inflate to full size on the first day. I inflated it as much as possible on Day 1, and then waited to add more air on Days 2 and 3. At that point, it was the same size as my FIRM ball.
