Does anyone have the barbell with the pad attached from the old firmies? If so, do you remember the weight of the barbell? As I am preparing my workout room for the new STS series, I pulled out the old barbell and was wondering.... what is the weight? For the life of me I can't remember the weight. Thanks in advance to those who knows the answer...Veronica

I'd check it, because I don't think it was exactly 10# (check the weight by standing on a scale holding it, then standing on a scale without it, and subtracting the difference). I think it was more like 8 or 9 or 11 (some odd, not-quite-10# weight).
