For those of you into Beading...

I don't know what kind of beading you are into, but Fire Mountain rocks. I have always been able to find whatever obscure finding I need, or just the right bead to finish my product. The prices are great if you order a lot, and delivery is always prompt.

What kind of beading do you do?

I like to work with seed beads, mostly weaving. I like the flexibility to create just about anything with these tiny shiny spheres (not to mention that I am inherently cheap and they are cheap and it takes forever to use them up).

Shayne,

Right now I am just starting and doing basic beading (necklaces) on soft flex wire. I haven't even learned to put the crimps on yet. I have to take a class and I have some dvds and books on the way. But I am having alot of fun picking out beads from my local store. I eventually want to order on-line because I think it will be alot cheaper that way and I wasn't sure which stores were reliable. I did see the Fire Mountain store you suggested, I will try them. Thank you!! I think this is going to be a fun hobby for me!:D Linda

I just started beading a couple of months ago. I've been taking some classes at Michael's Arts and Crafts and watching a few videos on Youtube.

Ive ordered from eebeads.com. I've made a couple of the projects on their site. I find they have the best prices. Firemountaingems has a large selection and will send you a free catalog. I have not ordered from them yet.

Happy beading!

Carmen.

I did buy a bunch of beads today at another store in my town I just discovered. Also been looking on line, I will take your suggestions and order soon!! Thanks everyone!!:) Linda
