FOR PEOPLE WANTING KATHY S.'S ROTATIONS

TarHeelMom

Cathlete
Hi folks! A lot of you have been posting on the old and mysteriously resurrected "I HAVE KATHY S.'S ROTATIONS" thread, asking that Ruth e-mail you the rotations. I think some of you missed Ruth's post yesterday and requests for e-mails are still piling up on that thread. Please note, kids: Ruth doesn't have my rotations anymore and can't e-mail them to you (and as a matter of fact, I don't even have them except in paper copy myself).

For those of you who don't know what the old thread was talking about anyhow, let me clue you in and tell you where you CAN find my rotations if you want them. Several years ago I compiled five Microsoft Word documents with as many Cathe rotations as I could find posted on these Forums. I stopped adding volumes and updating after the Intensity Series (I think -- it could even have been before that), because my rotations documents became unnecessary with the opening of our Forum member Liz's website FitnessVideoFanatics.com. Liz put my documents on her site (you can download them) along with a whole lot of other fabulous stuff, including rotations for many other instructors and a fitness calendar on which you can schedule your own rotation for each month. It's really a great site and you'll really enjoy surfing around on there -- take your time and look at all that Liz has done for the fitness vidiots of the world! ;-)

Here's the link to the Cathe worksheets & rotations on the site:

Enjoy, and again, let's leave poor Ruth alone! :)

Hey Deb!

Hi GF! Nice to be back -- we got home Monday night and are having 10 for New Year's Eve, so I'm online surfing recipes. :)

Our holiday with my family was really nice -- restful and relaxing but WAY too much food. This girl's on a self-flogging routine already! I loved your letter and pic -- what beautiful babies, and that Dave ain't too shabby to look at, I must say! And YOU -- wow, honey, you look beautiful!!!! Hope yours was wonderful too -- sending you out a big ((((((((((((((HUG))))))))))))))! I'll be in touch!

RE: Hey Deb!

Awww Thanks Kath! You're so sweet. Yep, got myself a good one. He is the BEST! We had a ball celebrating Christmas with Kennedy & Colton. We went up the night before (took our son with us) and went to church service with Julie and her family and then back to the house for some goodies! We stayed all night and got to see the kids open their gifts Christmas morn. Then, we had 30 people!!!! over for dinner at 4:00. Whew, lots of food, laughs and good memories. We are blessed lots with family & friends to celebrate this special time of year. Glad to hear your holiday was nice too. I'll also be in touch. Happy 2005!

RE: Hey Deb!

Hi Kathy,

You beat me to it...I was going to post a new thread today to make sure everybody knew where to find your wonderful rotations documents.

But I don't mind the requests, because it means more people are getting involved in the Cathe fitness world. Gotta love that!

Hi Deb!

Ruth:) :)

Hi Ruth!

You're such a trooper. :) I must say, when I went over to Liz's site to make sure that all 5 volumes were there, I hadn't looked at the old rotations volumes in a long time (I have them printed up in a notebook) and had fun browsing through -- there are some really great rotations AND references to some former Forums members we haven't heard from in a long time, like Honeybunch. The good ol' days, huh? ;-)

About the red -- you can change the font color, font size or use bold face or italics using simple HTML commands. Those commands are called "tags" and they're always enclosed inside either brackets [] or these things: <> On Cathe's site you need to use brackets. You begin by inserting a command tag at the place where you want the change to go, and you end that change by inserting a command tag where you want the change to stop. The ending tag always contains the forward slash / inside the brackets and in front of the words in your closing command.

There's a pretty decent tutorial on a zillion cool things you can do, at this website:
http://www.htmlgoodies.com/tutors/textcodes.html

To make your font red, for example, you put an opening bracket right in front of the phrase you want to make red, and then you type the words "font color" (not in quotes), then an = mark, then the color you want (e.g., red, or teal, or navy), and then put in your closing bracket. At the point at which you want the color change to stop, you once again put in an opening bracket, then a forward slash mark followed immediately by the words "font color" and then a closing bracket.

To make italics or bold face, you just go to the front of the text that you want to make bold or italicize, and put in either B or I inside the brackets. Then at the end of the phrase you'd once again use brackets, and inside them you'd put /B or /I.

You can also experiment with font size. Use the same command "tag" setup that you do for color, except instead of "font color" you'd type "font size", and then your = mark, and then 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc. The bigger the number, the bigger the text. And you'd use the same command to end that font size -- a forward slash before the words "font size" and all of that inside brackets.

Lastly, you can layer on all of these commands for any section of your text. (That sentence was green, in bold, with italics, in size 5, for example ;-)) Just use succeeding sets of brackets in front of and behind your text to start and stop the commands.

Have fun playing around with this stuff! Click on Preview Message to make sure your commands are working. :)

RE: Hi Ruth!

Hi Kathy,

Thank you SO much for all this information! I love playing around with this kind of stuff. I'm printing it out to study at my leisure (whatever leisure is).:p

It's funny, I was thinking about honeybunch several times this past week or so. Does anyone know how/where she is? I miss her.

Love, love, LOVE your rotations...still fun!

Ruth:) :)
