I will be renewing my current cell phone plan in a few months, and I am starting to get early offers from the cell phone company. I currently have a phone that I can use to call, text and if I am really patient, browse the internet (but it's a pain...very slow). My mom has an iphone (yes, my mom is more tech savvy than I am), and I LOVE it!
I am really leaning toward getting an iphone in a few months, but am wondering what size data plan to get. I would use it primarily to check e-mail, use some apps (I just learned what these mean
) and impulsively search the internet... you know, when I have a ? that pops into my head. That's how I used my mom's phone when she was here for a recent visit. I would also use it to take pics and short videos. I saw that my cell phone company offers 1 G, 2G, and 4G packages. Any suggestions?
Also, if you have an ipad, do you also use a separate phone? Or, do you use your ipad for everything? I like the idea that it's bigger, therefore a bigger keypad. But, on the flipside, I couldn't imagine using it as a phone.
