For curly girls

I tried a new product line yesterday called "Devacurl" and I love it! I used the "low-poo", the conditioner, and the "Arc Angell" leave in gel. My hair was curlier and less frizzy than ever! The prices are very reasonable, and the bottles are big.

I hear they have a salon in NYC devoted to cutting curly hair. I think I'm going to try it. :D

Thanks~

I tried Deva Curl a while back, and had great results w/ this.

Me and my BF are planning on a trip to NY, so I will have to place a call and see when I can get in and schedule are trip at the same time.

DevaCurl stuff is great, Nancy!!! I took your tip from long ago and went to naturallycurly.com when I was at wits end with my hair and it was the best site!

One thing I do is not actually rinse all the conditioner from my hair. I leave a bit in and then put on the Angell.

Another product I like is called Curl Keeper. I put it in my hair sopping wet after a shower, comb it through with a wide tooth comb, squeeze out the excess water, and plop my hair into t-shirt. (See http://www.jessicurl.com and look up her video on 'plunking'.)

For anyone looking for styling tips, go to http://www.curlisto.com and they have videos you can watch on how to use their products. I have my own products, but used their techniques and it really worked!

Jennifer, do you see prices anywhere on the website? I can't find a price for a haircut anywhere. I guess I'll have to call.

Fabulous,

Thank you...I will use all these tips and websites I'm sure....I managed to go from wavy to curly, curly curly the last 2 years. Long story, but Doc thinks it had to do with the weight off and a bit of body shock....I'm just thrilled it all came back!

Also I had great luck with Goldswell Instasilk products. The leave in is great stuff.:D
