Hi Cathe,

I'm trying to figure out how I can do both the CTX series & PS in a week. Is this possible? I was also wondering about doing a CTX & S&H rotation.

I know this sounds like a lot, but I need a lot of work. I'm maintaining a 100 pd weight loss, and I'm only 5'2. Lot's of loose, flabby skin. :-rollen Also, my thighs are already huge, but I have VERY flabby inner thighs. Is it okay for me to use heavy weights on leg work?

Thanks a bunch!
Rhonda

I'm not Cathe (obvioulsy). If you have already lost so much weight (congrats by the way!), why not take it a bit slower and see what works for you? Maybe PS will tone up wour loose areas if you give it 6 or 8 wks or maybe CTX is more the ticket. If you absolutely want to do PS and CTX in the same week (which would be incorporating strength & endurance training) try this:
Sat. CTX All Step PS C/S/T
Sun. CTX Kickbox PS B/B/A
Mon. PS L/A (I would go heavy the weights on this one your inner thighs will love it!)
Tue. CTX 10-10-10 and Triceps + Shoulders from CTX All Step
Wed. CTX Step Intervals and Chest + Biceps from CTX Kickbox
Thu. CTX Power Circuit (for legs) and Back
Fri. REST
This sounds like a lot to me. Another idea:
Sat. CTX cardio portion and PS C/S/T
Sun. CTX cardio portion and PS B/B/A
Mon. PS L/A or Leaner Legs (go lighter with LL than with PS)
Tue. Cathe step tape or All Step + Step Intervals (43 min.)
Wed. CTX All Upper Body (Chest, Back, Shoulders, Bis & Tris)
Thu. CTX Power Circuit (more leg work)
Fri. REST
These are suggestions only. I personally recommend doing CTX or PS, not both, but only you know what you are capable of and what won't burn you out. Have fun!!!

Too funny that you posted this question because I've been wondering the same thing. I'm thinking about trying this (I'm not going to show days because I work out on an odd schedule due to work & school)...

CTX Power Circuit, PS-Back only
CTX 10-10-10, PS-Tricep Only
CTX Steps & Interval, PS-Chest onlly
CTX Kickbox, PS-Biceps only
CTX All Step, PS-Shoulders Only
CTX Lean Legs, PS-Legs (cutting it short)

I don't want to over work but I don't feel I'm getting enough strength training to get the muscle definition I want. I was also thinking about trying this same type of rotation mix with the Slow & Heavy series. What do you think?

Cathe has commented in the past that you shouldn't split the PS tapes because of the way the exercises are sequenced. It looks like what you want is short cardio and then strength weight work (instead of endurance weight work like CTX?) Is this right? Why not do a PS video one day, and then a long cardio the next day? Just a suggestion.
