What order do you do these in, do you do a cardio and weight routine each day or do you separate weights and cardio into separate days?? Do you alternate with Cathe at all??

I did them for four weeks (with a 10 day illness and a vaction so it was 4 straight weeks) as produced:
Arms & Abs
Legs & Butt
Chest & Back
Shoulders & Abs
Total Body
I did the weight segment followed immediately (well, sometimes I had to have a self-talk before the cardio) by the non-treadmill cardio (I don't own a treadmill). I felt VERY worked out doing this series and loved getting it ALL done in one hour or less. I did the first four workouts M-Th, usually a rest day or cardio on Friday, Saturday or Sunday was the total body.

I do them in the order that is recommended. If you read the back of the DVD case, it tells you what number that DVD is. I'm not at home, so I can't check my set, but I think first is arms, then legs, then chest, then back, then total body. Abs and shoulders are mixed in there, but I forget where.

Each DVD has one 20-40 min of weights on it (the first DVD has arms, the second legs, etc). And then 4 of the DVD's have a non treadmill cardio of around 30 min and then a treadmill cardio of 30 minutes.

I do the weight section as is and then I either do the non treadmill cardio or my own cardio each day. On the total body day I do not always do cardio. On the 6th day I do a 40 minute cardio. On the 7th day, I rest.

I have alternated a week of Cathe with a week of Barry. I used gym styles for my week of Cathe but broke them up into a 4 day split the way BBC is broken up. I read a post elsewhere that people have used the pure strength series.

Thanks, never noticed the numbers on the dvds, I'll have to check it out. Also, great idea breaking up the GS's the way BBC is broken up. I may alternate weeks like that. Thanks for the ideas!

The only thing I didn't like about alternating the Gym Styles with BBC is that the gym styles are heavier weight, low reps at a slower pace and BBC is lighter weight with a ton of reps at a faster pace. It feels contradictory. I wish I could find a Cathe workout that has a similar feel to BBC. Maybe CTX??? I have it on VHS, but haven't done it in years.

I actually find that I use heavier weights for BBC than I do for Gym Styles b/c I dont follow BBC's exact rep speed. I lift heavy and go at my own pace.
