have any of you seen this diet? it seems like its eat whatever you want but in proper portions but the infommercial doesn't go into detail and neither does the website. I suppose that is a plan to get you to buy it to find it out. So i was just curious about the details.

Oh, yeah! I was on this diet for years - and my weight was up to 150+! Who needs a book for that? ;)

No, seriously, I've heard about it, but don't know any details either.

Sounds like what the Weight Watchers points system is all about and it works wonders for people. I'll bet if I did the WW thing that I would lose the last 5 pounds I want to lose but I'm not willing to spend the money to join. I'd rather buy new work out dvds instead! :D

Sounds like WW & ETNT

Weight Watchers & Eat This, Not That - both work, both are good for long term, that is get it off & keep it off.

Is this the one by Robert Ferguson? That's the only website I could find. The picture of a sample meal is Country Fried Chicken, 2 Biscuits and Gravy, and baked beans. A 4 oz piece of chicken is 296 calories, 2 biscuits and gravy are 998 calories, and 1/2 cup of baked beans are 157 calories (according to FitDay), for a total of 1451. Even if you only had half a serving of the biscuits and gravy at 499 calories, you'd still be at 952 calories, for one meal - not to mention all the fat for clogging the arteries. Though I am surprised at how few calories a piece of fried chicken has - I would have expected a lot more.

I totally agree with eating "whatever" you want as long as the portions are normal, but the the quality of the "whatever" is what is important. Personally, I'd rather have yummy healthy food in sensible portions, than food that can make me sick.

Here's another one called the Food Lover's Diet, that looks like it incorporates more healthy food. http://www.fitnessmagazine.com/weight-loss/plans/diets/the-food-lovers-diet/

I would be skeptical of any product that doesn't let you at least take a tour, to see what you're getting. Bet if you bought it, didn't like it, and returned it within his time frame - you'd have a heck of a time getting your money back.
