Hmmm..well, I usually get about 2 pounds and put the bag in the fridge when I get home.It seems to me that "the clock starts ticking" once the seeds are ground, but while whole, they last quite a while.It might sound crazy, but my favorite way to use ground flaxseed is to sprinkle a couple of teaspoons on a salad (after mixing in the dressing). It's really good!I tried the pre-ground stuff once and I hated it too - who came up with the idea to drink it in water,anyway??
