Flab Blasters 1/16 check-in

Good Morning All!
Well I've not workedout just yet and maybe not at all today.
I have my yearly appiontment this morning plus some errands I need to run before I get the kiddos home from school. So I'm not sure how much time I'll have to w/o today. After the kids get home from school they want me to make them some oatmeal cookies while we wait for Daddy so we can go eat out for dinner, the place for tonight is an hours drive from here....hubby wants hot wings so Hooter's the place tonite LOL.

Anyways....
To answer your question Sabine...I got DOMS from Timesaver #4 because of the KPC segment I honestly can not remember what weight work is done in that one but the day after TS #4 I noticed my lats were feeling it.

TS #'s 4&5 Have to be my fav because of how they make my body feel.

HI ladies,
I guess I am not the last person to check in today;) It was stormy here today so I had the morning off of work and I got my workout in.Which is great b/c I can move on with my day!
I did Superset and went heavy with the weights, then I did a 45 min run and 2 parts of 10-10-10.I have pushed my schedule to the max lately and I am running from place to place.But thats o.k...keeps me from being bored.

Hey everyone, great to see you ladies checking in early.:) I'm not feeling so good today. Called my doctor only to find out her baby is sick and can't see me 'til Monday. I suspect I have a sinus infection. I have this every year. Starts with an allergy attack -- super itchy throat, teary eyes, sneezing, post-nasal drip -- and ends up with me hacking horribly yucky stuff. Sorry... don't mean to gross you all out. Anyway, I'm lying low 'til I get myself some antibiotics.

Your comments on what I said about needing to do more cardio, especially Bootcamp, amused me. All of you who do Bootcamp, I salute you.:) I don't know what it is about it that turns me off. I've watched the workout three times already. I'm sure I CAN do the exercises, most of which are in Cathe's other workouts. I guess it's just the way these exercises are combined that doesn't appeal to me. But it's worth a try. Next week, hopefully. In the meantime, I'm watching what I put in my mouth.

I'm finally back to my normal schedule so I did Timesaver #3 this morning. I enjoyed getting a chance to work on the step combos again before doing the whole of Step Blast again in the future (not sure when it will wind up in a rotation again). I really liked the one armed bicep curls using the stability ball as a bench. It really got the muscle good and toasty. And whereas I flailed earlier in the week with the roll ins and the pikes, I was able to do all of them (these are the same ones in KPC). Sometimes I just don't understand why some days are easier than others.

For those of you back east, has it warmed up any? Hope you are safe and snug and staying out of cold's way.

Pinky, I am very susceptible to sinus infections and I hear your pain! Do your doctors have the ability to send a prescritpion to the pharamacy without needing to be seen first? Maybe because I've had so many sinus infections before, my doctor hears my symptoms and doesn't even have me come in anymore, just sends the pharmacy an email and my prescription is ready a few hours later. Anyway, you are wise to lay low until you are feeling better.

YUMMMMMMMM!!!!! Oatmeal cookies! Shywolf, do you want to FedEx some my way;) .

Anyone around this weekend? If so, maybe I'll post a Flab Blaster weekend edition for those who want to check in over the weekend. I'm not going out of town and will be spending a lazy weekend at home, reading the DaVinci Code, making soups and homemade quiche, and watching good movies.

LOL Sabine I make these oatmeal cookies using the recipe from the lid off the quaker oats box... my kids don't care for raisins so I don't add that or the salt. They are gone in hours and I would fedex if I could :)but I've got a hungry teen and preteen that actually fight over them ...too funny!
 
Just quickly stopping by to say "Hello". I am still playing nurse to my sick little ones and I am just not going to get down to do Muscle Endurance. So I am going to rearrange my rotation a little bit and do ME tomorrow (which is the planned rest day on the Jan. rotation) then do IMAX 2 on Sunday (instead of Monday) and then do Power Hour on Mon. I figured it wouldn't be a good idea to do ME and PH back to back. Hopefully that will get me right back on track - I hate it when I get messed up doing a rotation, but hey, sometimes other things have to come first.
I will definitely be around this weekend and will look to check-in with anyone else who's around.

Good Morning everyone. I think I am going to do Imax today. I have not done that one in forever!!!! I always do 2, and I think I need a change. Everything is going great here, and hope it is for all of you too!!!!

Hi Ladies,
I just got home from the cabin,going to workout and head back down there again.The worse thing about going to the cabin is the eating, there is just an endless amount of food.SOme of it wasn't to bad though.I got into the new smarties bar ;( I am going to do a good cardio now so that I won't feel to bad about it and I will try and behave myself tonight:)

Its me again! I got my workout in,despite how lazy I was feeling.I did a 70 min run and Imax 2.I was pooped!It felt great though.I grabed a hand held game before I got on the treadmill and thats what I played,while I listened to music.Talk about multitasking.

I did muscle endurance this afternoon - for some reason I never have done that workout very much but it definitely was tough and I enjoyed it. Tomorrow is Imax 2 - it's been a while since I did that - I have been hooked on the first one lately, so it will be fun to go back to it.
