Flab Blaster checkin 1/6 (formerly Fit for Xmas)

Good morning everyone,

Hope everyone's having a great day so far.

This morning I substituted Christi's Still Jumpin' for MIC in the January rotation. I just love Christi's workouts so much. They are so much fun:D ! So needless to say I had an awesome workout. I also wore the new workout outfit that my sister's boyfriend got me for Christmas, a sassy black and white Adidas emsemble. That made me feel even better!

Rhonda and Joy- YOO HOO!!! Hope you two are doing well. Come in and let us know how you're doing and how the holidays were for you.

Shywolf- Welcome and glad that you joined us.

Pinky- Sorry to hear that you have a sick little one at home. Hopefully things are on the mend and you can direct some of your energies back to yourself (Mom's sre just such giving souls!).

Lori- Glad to hear from you. Keep us posted on how your challenge goes.

Brenda- You are most welcome! And I did not say anything that isn't 100% true!

Tracy- What did you do today? MIC or something else?

I literally just finished doing MIC (I'm sitting here gulping water), and I am happy to report that even though I was dreading doing this (I am not partial to hi/lo) I had an awesome workout! I felt really good, of course very tired, but I was able to maintain my intensity throughout the whole thing.

Pinky- I feel for you having your child sick - I have 3 kids and even when they are all healthy it is hard to squeeze time in for myself. Thankfully, my oldest is back at school, and my littlest still naps. I have started a new program with my 3 yr. old (she no longer naps), I bought her a bunch of new coloring books and she stays in her room for "quiet coloring time" while I go and work out in the basement.

Tomorrow I am planning to do Step, Jump, Pump - I am excited to do this one - I have only done the snippets that are on the Timesaver DVD. I think I'm going to preview this one tonight so I'll be ready to go.

Hi everyone-
We're having a little construction done outside my bedroom so it is physically impossible to get to my workout right now... hopefully they'll be leaving soon and I'll go workout while the baby is still sleeping. In the meantime I'm trying to drink as much water as possible so I at least feel like I'm doing something healthy. Pinky, I think today was PUB- I may substitute the Firm upper body which still seems challenging. I just got a higher step so I may just do Body Sculpt w/upper & lower body since I won't have a lot of time.

Hey Sabine, I wanted to ask what DVD player you got for Xmas? Do you like it w/the discs? That's going to be my next major purchase I think. I'm so jealous that I can't get the premixes and can't mix my own workouts w/out taking time in between to rewind and set everything up. How nice is your sister's boyfriend!!

Tracy- good for you on MIC- I love that workout! I did it the other day and always forget what a challenge the end of the step segment is.

Hello!!!! It sis nowing so bad here, it is blizzard conditions and my 17 year old son just left for work. I hope he makes it. he has about 15 miles to go.

Today I did PLB, and SJP cardio. It was fun. Well, gotta run. have a good day everyone!!!

Hi everybody! Thanks for the good thoughts, Sabine and Tracy. Today has been a better day, thank goodness. ShyWolf and Tracy, welcome to the thread.:) Brenda, today was UB strength for me, specifically PS. I surprised myself today by bench pressing 45 lbs. I'm 5 lbs. short of my goal! I was also able to use 35 lbs. finally for BB curls. It was exciting, as my biceps are trailing behind a lot of my body parts. I'm realizing that I will have to split my UB workouts in two (chest/shoulders/triceps; back/biceps) -- and very soon -- as the weights I'm using are getting heavier. With the longer rests, the sessions, of course, get longer. Since I haven't been able to do any cardio in a while, I'll be doing KPC tomorrow instead of LL so I get the leg workout and cardio done in one session. I know it'll be tough.}( 'Til tomorrow. Hi Ladies,
Mind if I join? I was currently doing a rotation checkin on this board but there was only two of us checking in at that place.Not that I mind,but the more the merrier right? I think Sara will be joining us as well.
A couple of names look familar here.I think from the BFL checkin a few monthes back.
I am assuming that there is no paticular rotation going on here? I made up one myself that I am doing.I only wrote it up for 4 weeks but we will see after that.
I also got a treadmill for christmas so I have been using that with my cathe videos and have been doing some awesome cardio workouts.I did 1/2 imax 1 yesterday and 60min on the treadmill.
Today is cardio and lower body.I am going to do PLB but I am not sure which cardio.I may do the rest of Imax 1 but keep the run a little shorter.Or I may not..we shall see.
It was awesome doing Imax 1 yesterday.I haven't done that one in a LONG time and it felt like I was doing a new video.I forgot what was comming next.
I guess I probably have the same goals as most people here.I lost about 5lbs over christmas(don't ask me how)and I wouldn't mind losing a few more.If I don't no biggie b/c I fit back into all of my jeans again.That was the worst feeling in the world,when I was trying to jam myself into a pair of jeans that were to small.Its amazing how a few pounds can make you need a new wardrobe!;( I need to tone up my lower body , my upper body isn't to bad and I need to get in some ab work.I use to do abs everyday but last year I just forgot about it! Didn't want to do it.
Anyway, hopefully you don't mind that I joined and I looking forward to chatting to you and sharing workouts.
