Flab Blaster Check-in - 1/23

Hey gals, hope you're all having a wonderful Friday. Opted for Legs & Glutes instead of cardio yesterday. That was my first time doing L&G and ohmigosh... doesn't Cathe ever get tired?:) I had to pause a lot to re-set up my equipment as my workout space is very small, only about 6 X 9, roughly. I liked the segments with the ankle weights, and just might use those a lot. I wasn't too hot about holding a 15-lb. DB in front of my body. That did a number on my back, so next time I'm putting 2 8-pounders on my shoulders. So anyway, it's cardio today. I'll probably do All Step and Step & Intervals from CTX for a full hour workout. Check in later...

Good morning,

Happy Friday everyone. I, for one, am so glad that end of the week is here. Even though it's been only a 3 day work week for me (had to take Tuesday off with my very upset tummy), with everything that happened I'm ready for a relaxing weekend.

Today's workout was Franny's CIA 2K05 Cardio Parties hi/lo. Was pleasantly surprised to see some kickboxing moves incorporated into the routine. Since this was the first time doing this workout things did not go perfectly and I got a nice workout in none the less. It was especially nice after doing PS Legs and Abs yesterday afternoon. My butt is feeling it today!

Pinky, Legs and Glutes is deceptively tough! The first time I did it I thought, 'That was pretty easy for Cathe'. The next day I knew better. Enjoy your cardio today. I love both of the CTX cardio segments you mentioned.

Hope everyone else is doing well. Anyone up for a weekend edition this weekend?
 
Good afternoon:
I'm shaking out of my horrible slump this week. I think I realized that I can't have ANY sugar in the a.m. (bite of leftover poptart, cereal, etc) or it throws my entire day into a carb crazed cycle not to mention adding to my exhaustion. Today I started over w/my regular breakfast and lunch. I'm still tired from last weekend but plan on doing IMAX2 today to get things moving again. I'm also going to pull out an old Firm tape from years ago (Lower Body Sculpting) that really targets my hips/thighs...

Pinky, L&G is tough- I always feel it the next day!

Hi Ladies,
How is everyone. I was hoping it would be all right if I jump in and check in from time to time. I'm finding my work load to be a little nuts so I apologize for missing out since the new year began.

I've read the thread a couple of times and so I know that you have been keeping on.

I'm almost ready to go home for the weekend, but I wanted to take these few minutes to say HI and that I'll be back next week. (hopefully early rather than later)

So good to have you peek in and say hi! I have missed seeing you at the check in. Don't let work get you too crazy and you are always welcome to check in when ever you can (although I personally will vote for checking in lots!;-) ).

Hey everyone-
The past couple of days have been busy/crazy so I haven't been checking in, although I have been keeping up with the workouts. Wed I did PS BBA, Th- PS SLA, and today I did cardio - the step section of SPJ and CTX kickbox, but I ran out of time and didn't tack on the hi/lo from MIC (gee! too bad!)
Tomorrow is PS CST and I think I might add on the hi/lo I skipped out on today.
Sabine- I think I got sick from you (can germs be passed via the internet?) I am starting to feel queasy and cotton-headed.

I will be around this weekend, so I definitely vote for a weekend edition.

Good evening all;

I did TS #4 , I really enjoy the segments from KPC and the bonus ones too.

I'm looking forward to completing this month with possibly the 1st week in Cathe's December rotation. Since I'm using my dd's bedroom the space is small than where I usually w/o in. I'm hoping the at least by mid Feb. my w/o area will be done and I can move all my gear back down stairs to the main floor.

I always feel that I may end up jumping or kicking right into my dd's computer desk or her bed LOL
