Good morning girls:

Looks like everyone had a good long weekend. Sabine & Tracy, great job on IMAX2- there's nothing better than getting through it and doing the cooldown! Which workout are you following now and where are you in it? I need inspiration now since I think I have the January blahs- SO tired...

Lori, don't worry about the scale- 3% body fat loss is much more important than a few pounds on the scale. If your clothes fit better and you feel better avoid the scale (I know, easier said than done).

Yesterday I did Power Hour and I'm sore today since I avoided weights last week and only did cardio. The event Sat was really fun and it was great to see many people I haven't seen in years since college. I got dressed to go and my husband said "wow" which could not have been a nicer compliment.

Hope you all are planning a great day.

Brenda

Hi all,

For a Tuesday it sure feels like a Monday today! I'm dragging!

I am doing week 3 of the January rotation although any 'add on' type workouts (like 30 min. run after doing a video) are being omitted due to time constraints. Today I did Pure Strength Back, Biceps and Abs and felt really good. I'm even thinking I can go up again in weight for the barbell bicep work as it's not so endurance focused.

Tomorrow will be Amazing Step Styles with Rob Glick (1st time doing this one, the preview looked awesome). Then it's PS Legs and Abs, then I'll probably do the hi/lo from Franny's Cardio Parties, then PS Chest,Tris and Abs, and off on Sunday.

Brenda- sounds like you looked beautiful for your event. Glad to hear that you had a good time.

Pinky- have the antibiotics kicked in yet and do you feel well enough to work out?

Tracy- what are you doing today? I remember you saying that you needed to make some adjustments to get back on schedule for this week.

I had a wonderful, LAZY, weekend! My tummy is not feeling so hot right nowx( so I am going into work late if I can tear myself away from the bathroom. Does anyone know if weight work can bring on diarrhea or is it more likely something I ate over the weekend?

Sabine, I think it must be something you ate, and it does not sound good!!!! I hope you feel better soon.

I did the Firm's BBS LB Sculpt, then I did Cathe's Legs and Glutes. My buns are sore, but I am enjoying every mintue of it!!!! I LOVE weight work, and hate cardio.

Brenda, I can imagine how awesome that was when your hubby said that. I am so working to lose some of this fat, and gain more definition soon. I am pretty focused right now, I just hope I stay this way!!!!!!

Pinky, hope you are feeling better!!!!

Hello everyone!
Brenda, glad to hear you had a good weekend. Sabine, I hope you are not getting sick...there has been a terrible stomach virus going around these parts (my daughter had it last week and it was not fun! for her or me!). I am on week 3 of the Jan. rotation - I did Power Hour yesterday, and didn't feel like I should lift again today, so I swapped the tues and wed. workouts - so tomorrow I will do PS BBA and today I did Rhythmic Step. By Thurs. I will be back on track and doing PS SLA. Today was just the second time I did RS and I did much better this time! There were still a few parts where I just had to stand and watch and laugh! Stepping is definitely not my strong suit.
LoriSax, I can't imagine how you did all that leg work in one day! I would have died!

Well, I've got to go pick up my daughter from school (she's finally healthy enough to get out of the house.)

Everyone have a great day and stay healthy!
Tracy

Hi everyone, I'm finally on my way back to normal (the first double dose of Zithromax upset my tummy but didn't do anything more than give me gas) and was able to do Power Max today. I settled for cardio as that's what I need to do more these days, at least until I see some of this belly flab recede.:) Boy, it's an old Cathe workout, but "old" doesn't necessarily mean easier. Even as I kept it low in some places, sweat was still flying everywhere!

Brenda, I'm glad you had fun last Saturday. Looks like you got your dress to fit perfectly since you got your hubby to fawn.;-)

Sabine, I don't think weight work can bring on diarrhea, no matter how hard you strain to get those weights up. I'm afraid it's something you ate, or some viral infection you got somewhere. Tummy bugs thrive very well in the winter. I hope you feel better soon.

Lorisax, you do great work on those buns. I don't think I can survive what you just did.

Tracy, RS is, I think, the hardest Cathe step workout yet. I'd rather be butt-whipped by the IMAXes.:) But this doesn't mean it won't get better.

Talk to you all later,
Pinky

Hi Ladies,
Sounds like everyone had a good day.The day is almost over here.Where does the time go????
Brenda-that event sounded like fun on sat night.I was talking to a friend the other day and she was interested in having a highschool reunion. That is something I would love to attend.I haven't seen alot of those people since I left highschool but so many of them have moved so far away.It would be impossible to get us all together again.Hopefully someday.
I had a good workout tonight.I did a 80min run, abs, tric and bic.Its so much easier to run on my treadmill when there is something to watch on t.v.I watched American Idol and Newly weds although the newly weds were driving me crazy. No offense to Jessica Simpson fans but does she have to be so whinny? I would pull my hair out if I had to live with her.
Anyway, hope veryone had a good day.
Lori:)
