Five Day Rotation

Hi Cathletes!

I’ve been lurking in the forum shadows for a few months now and this is my first post! I’ve been cognizant of Cathe through Fittv for the past few years and I worked out with her sporadically during that time. However, in August of this year I finally decided to kick it up a notch, invest a little mullah, and get to work! I purchased a BUNCH of Cathe DVDs (4DS, Intensity Series, B&G, Body Max 2, MMA Fusion, CCC, HiiT, Drill Max, LIC, Step Blast, KPC, LM) and started utilizing rotations to help me keep up with my workouts (i.e. hold myself accountable). At this point, I’m working out 5 days a week (which is a step up from the 4 days a week I was doing before August) and unfortunately because of my job (I’m in the legal profession) I don’t think working out 6 days a week is feasible for me right now. I’m hoping to push myself to 6 days a week this summer!

So, to drill down to the bedrock of my question, is anyone aware of an effective 5 day rotation? Since August I’ve lost about 7 pounds but I feel like I’ve recently hit a plateau (a BIG plateau - like Grand Canyon big). :p I’m hoping to break through, shed those last 15 pounds, and tone my upper body! During the week I try to contain my workouts to around 60 minutes, but on the weekends I’m known to pop in Body Max 2 and go to town! I’m still building up my fitness strength and endurance - I’d say I’m about an intermediate right now – MAYBE borderline advanced cardio. I'm definitely a strength weanie (I usually lift about 50% to 60% of what Cathe is lifting). Any thoughts/advice/suggestions on an effective five day rotation would be extremely appreciated. Thank you!!
