Hi fitnessfreak. Fairly new to forums and Cathe w/o. I saw your generic get ready for summer rotation. It looks really great, especially since I only have a few DVDs right now. I was wondering, I have about 12 lbs to lose(mostly around the middle) and I want to tone up. Will 2 days of cardio be enough in your opinion? Also, one of the DVD's I have is bootcamp, can this be considered cardio or just circuit training? BTW, I have LoMax, Imax 2, and Bootcamp for cardio. Thanks in advance for all your great advice:)
 
I guess that depends on how many days a week you workout. Do you do any weight lifting? I would say at least 3 if not 4 days of cardio for a while until you get the 12 lbs. under control. I consider Bootcamp a cardio workout because your HR stays up the whole time.
 
Thanks for the quick response. I am currently doing 4-5 days of w/o trying to make it up to 6 consistently. I do light weightlifting, only up to 20lb DB for legs and 10-15 for UB:-( I figure I'll get there soon enough. I just received PUB/PLB, Muscle Endurance and I have Core Max. I'm trying to work those in on alt days 2-3 days but I really want to follow your rotation. I will eventually get a barbell when $$$ is available. Now that Cathe doesn't seem to be on fittv any more I'm limited to the DVDs I have. Thanks for the generic rotations. They really do help since I don't own all the DVDs yet! Thanks again for the advice, it's really sweet of you to help out the newbie!
 
No problem and give yourself time. It takes a while for the body to adjust to Cathe's excellent workouts. You sound like you are doing great, just maybe add in a little more cardio during the week, even if its just a half hour.
