My goals for 20076 are:

* to run a couple of 1/2 marathons in the next few months
* to qualify for the Boston marathon this fall
* to keep my eating on track (what a difference in athletic performance a clean diet makes)
* to finally crack open my P90X DVDs and give 'em a whirl
* to work lower body freestyle solidly into my workout rotation
* to monitor my body composition and lean out a little more

The good thing is that these are all doable so I have a fun year ahead of me with some great goals to focus on.....

To do a chin-up. Not a pull-up; chin-ups are easier because they recruit the biceps. I can pull myself up only about an inch at this point, but I'm still going to try!

*Keep my weight down
*Do more push-ups, chin-ups and pulls-ups
*Continue with the leg workouts that have gotten rid of the leg mush to a great degree (!!!)
*Walk the talk for the clients in my fitness center
*Continue to try new things, new methods, new equipment
Just Do It! :)

1. Workout less and workout smarter.
2. Eat healthier by following the 31 day plan in January's Self magazine. It looks very doable and gives you one step a day to incorporate into a more healthy life style. My hubby says that he will do it with me.

P.S. Please someone - what is Charlotte's Toasty rotation the original poster mentioned? TIA!

1. I want to be nicer to myself every day. That's the hardest one, though.
2. I want to lose 10 pounds and have all my clothes actually FIT and not feel like I'm trying to squeeze in them.
3. It would be nice to see my muscles. That means I've got to decrease that body fat!
4. I want to eat clean, only ingredients I can pronounce and not "sugar" or its derivatives, way more than I have. I think I'll feel better.
5. I want to be nicer to everyone and try not to be judgmental. (I've made some progress with that one, but it's still something I need to pay attention to!!)

I want to get more sleep each night.
Give up alcohol completely.
Eat cleaner and more often.
Run a race.
