Fitness Freak- 1 Body Part Rot. ?

~Fitness Freak~

I, like so many here, always print off your rotations and really "listen" to what you have to say about fitness. You have been such an inspiration.

I just finished a rotation using the Gym Styles once a week, plus two cardio days (KPC and Low Max) and one more leg/glutes day (Butts & Guts). I really enjoyed working two (except for the one GS workout) body parts per weight session. I also saw some great progression in my lower body from the combination of GS Legs, Butts & Guts, Low Max, and KPC. I'd like to continue the added focus on my legs, with the same structure of working two body parts a day.

My question is (sorry it took so long to get there!) is can I take your "One Body Part" rotation and combine two body parts?

Something like this:
(WEEKS 2 & 4)
Sun.: rest
Mon.: Legs & Glutes
Tue.: PUB chest 2x's/BM1 Chest + PUB Back 2x's/BM1 Back + ME abs
Wed.: Cardio
Thurs.: PLB + firewalkers 2x's (B&G) + SJP abs
Fri.: PUB biceps 2x's/BM1 biceps + PUB triceps 2x's/BM1 triceps
Sat.: PUB shoulders 2x's/BM1 shoulders + cardio

For weeks 1 & 3, sub in PS and BM2.

I'm taking the same combinations as you created, but taking out a lot of the cardio. (I don't need to lose weight, and find that I have to be careful w/my knees and cardio. Two cardio sessions a week work fine for me.)

Thanks so much.

This looks fine to me, just make sure you have the strength to get through two body parts. If you are feeling fatigued after the first body part you work, then I'd say stick with this type of rotation as one body part a day. It may be counter-productive doing all that in one day. Listen to your body.

Thank you so much for your quick response. I certainly don't want to overtrain! Previously, I would do what I thought was best, and not listen to what my body was screaming at me was best. For the last two months, I let my body guide me, and that has allowed for the most progress I've ever had.

Thank you again for your valuable insight. The Cathe Forums are lucky to have you! :)
