Fitness favorites & accomplishments - '07

-favorite new piece of equipment or gear? Probably a tie between the tread and free weights.


-favorite workout (Cathe or non-Cathe)? lifting super heavy & HIIT/hard intervals on the tread


-best fitness accomplishment this year? Being able to do chins/pull ups. I can now do chins w/ a 10lb weight b/w my legs, pullups are a bit lighter.

-favorite new piece of equipment or gear? Wow, that's a tough one! I think I'll have to agree w/ Wendy and go with my chin up bar that my dh made me in the garage! Oh, and my new bike that I got for my bday, a Trek Hybrid!!

-favorite workout (Cathe or non-Cathe)? P90X

-best fitness accomplishment this year? Completing 2 rounds of P90X and being able to do real pullups!! ;-)

I cut back in 2007 financially, so I didn't add too many things other than a few new workouts.

-favorite workout?
an iTread, but especially the SPRINT and INTERVAL ones!

-favorite fitness accomplishment this year?
I'm still in the midst of this one, but I'm currently in Week 9 of my 12 week Body For Life challenge and getting AWESOME AWESOME results. I'm SO happy with the results, that I'm considering sharing my before and after pics on the Success Board when I'm done! We'll see!

favorite new piece of equipment or gear? think I have everthing but added some heavier dumbbells to the collection

-favorite workout (Cathe or non-Cathe)? I LOVE Barry's Bootcamp .. but all time fav would have to be a tie: cardio coach press play and Cathe Body Max 2

-best fitness accomplishment this year? Learning to NOT do so much cardio and do more and heavier weights also I learned the concept of a REST week really works and renews you (thank you P90X and BBC).. although I have always varied my workouts this year I have varied them in a totally different way and I am loving it and more fit today than ever!!

Did not buy any new equipment, except maybe some extra dumbbells.

- All of the Amy Bento cardio workouts...LOVE THEM ! I also have tried LOTS of new CATHE cardio workouts (even her much older ones) and I LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!

-best fitness accomplishment this year?

Well, let's see...this year, I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis and a bulging disk in my low back, osteoarthritis and patalla-femoral syndrome in my knees, pleurisy in my lungs which in turn caused minor scoliosis in my spine which in turn MANGLED my back muscles which in turn has me going to physical therapy 3x a week now, and molluscum (a skin rash/condition). So after all this and over $2000 spent in copays and medicines and doctor visits and therapies, I am happy to still be working out fairly intensely 4-5x a week.

I have not achieved my cardio goals yet...but once my health 'settles', I hope to really kick it up !!!!!!!!!!!

new gear- would have to be my Cathe mug...coffee just tastes better in it;)

favorite workout- right now it is 4DS

fitness accomplishment-I have made strength gains recently with the 4DS.:)
