Okay Melanie.....NOW YOUR STRETCHING IT a bit!!!!}( }( }( ...BUT it was a nice idea!!:7 :7 :7
We just got back from the Kalahari (water resort in the dells). I have had 5 days of NO workouts (I hate even the thought of this!!!). BUT I climbed hundreds of flights of stairs to the tops of the water slides and I have to admit.....it's more fun than leaner legs...by a LONG SHOT. Water slides are a blast...even the baby went down the lazy river with me several times. My 14 year old (beware of 14 year old boys moms) took Hannah our 2 year old down the Master Blaster which has strict warnings not to take anyone down under the age of 3 or under the height of 42 inches tall. I found out later in the evening and asked him why on earth he took her down that thing and WHY did the life guard let him take her down. He said "SHE didn't, so I waited until the life guard change and asked the next GUY and he said....."awwwww go ahead". MEN!!!!
The P90X is fantastic. Yes I love to lift weights and this is MY WORKOUT!!!! I do not do any of the cardio (from P90X) and to be quite honest I really don't do the coresyn much. I DO do the yoga X tape and it has helped my back. It is hard for me to imagine that even Cathe can come up with a better workout, but I'm hoping she does and she never lets us down. I love the slow and heavy method with lots of breaks and time to stretch. If you have any specific questions let me know. I did 25 pound bicep curls the other day for a few reps and then backed down to 20 which felt really light. In contrast, I have a hard time doing PUB with Cathes weights....I'm not an endurance person and I'm so sick of endurance workouts I could spit. I can do them, but they seem like torture. P90X is a little weak on legs so I've added S&H legs and L&G standing work into my week and this is helping.
