Fit Mom's Check--in **Chocolate free week**

Hi girls...I am baaack!

Briee, MSJ, Melanie,...so nice to read how you are doing. Oh, and Hotspur...so nice to see you around!

My baby is now 2 1/2...so I fit right in!

Just wanted to say high to you gals...waves!

Blessings from our home to yours...Runathon

Hey Runathon.....how on earth are you doing girl???? I haven't heard from you in a while, but was just thinking about you the other day when I found some precooked cornmeal and was going to make those "things"....what are they called??? I remember they were under the polenta thread, but lacking time to do a big search...I'd love to get the recipe again :7 :7 :7 And I'm sure others would as well!! (You WERE the one with the recipe right?). Great to hear from you...so are you going to check in on a regular or semi regular basis?? I was also thinking of you when the baby screamed at 4 am and I got up to work out after he went back to sleep and said to myself "quit being such a whining wimp Briee, Runathon is done with her workout by now }( that animal!!!"

Someone mentioned hair loss up there.....mine was sooooo bad this past pregnancy that I was left with really thin blonde hair. So, I had it cut in the Uma Thurman fashion (what I call a really crappy hair cut) and I was left looking like a cross between her (hair only of course) and a maltese dog and to make matters even worse...now my hair is growing in, in such a severe way that you can lift my thin whispy layers and see 1.5" of new hair growing in and I feel just like a dog whose hair is growing in for the winter months. It looks hideous. I almost liked it better thin. Until it grows out....I'll just have to feel like Lassie in the month of November. Blechhhhh!!!

And regarding the time change and babies. Noah was VERY thrown off and just when I thought he was getting into a pattern of at least sleeping until 4 or so. He was good for 5 days and then the time change hit....now we're starting over again ;( ;( . Whoever thought up the time change...the amish in our area NEVER observe any time change. They call our time fast time during the summer months, but they never change their clocks...interesting huh. I bet they have happier babies that sleep through the night!!

Briee

Forgot to mention and meant to earlier.....Mel...you did a 7 mile run?...was this just for fun or were you just feeling incredibly sadistic? (masochistic? - I need a dictionary) This sounds like 2 hours of torture to me....ohhhh to love running....you're amazing.

Hey emy!

I know you were considering P90X... well, this is a great time to buy... there is a post on the Video Fitness Forum expalining how you can get it for $69.95... yes, that is correct... I check the link myself and that is what my shopping cart total before shipping and handling.

RE: Hey emy!

Hey ladies. No P90X for me, way too much weight work. ;) I DO like Ab Ripper X though. It's difficult, but my abs never get sore. I want those Abs is the only ab workout that has ever made my abs sore. Tamilee Webb is the actress in that one.

I'm doing better with my chocolate fast. Yesterday I made it!!! Yahoo. I guess self-control is a virtue I need to work on more. :D My cravings are definitely not as strong now...and that is good.
Briee, yes I did a 7-mi run. Thanks for noticing. :) It was my first one this season. I've really wanted to run this loop by my house. I did it last year and it's a lot of fun. However, baby Justin usually doesn't comply. I was going to do it once this season & it was the year he freaked out and started bawling & I had to turn around, holding him, brushing off the mosquitos, pushing the stroller home in the cooling air. Remember that scene? I hadn't attempted it since then accept for the other day. I looked down at my precious bundle ab out 2-mi into my run & he was sound asleep so I went for it. I'm glad I did too. With the running season at an end, I didn't think I'd get an opportunity. It made me feel young again. :D

Hi Runathon! I know what you mean about the price... I think I got it for 15% off... nothing compared to the current deal. You have to try the workouts.
