Good morning everyone,

After the throbbing headache subsided yesterday I still had a dull headache for all of yesterday so I did not get around to doing Muscle Endurance in the afternoon. When I got home from work a feel asleep for a couple of hours, after which I felt better. Had a light dinner(had little appetite to speak of) watched a little TV and turned in pretty early. Got in a good 8+ hours of sleep and today I feel great.

Did Muscle Endurance this morning and upped my barbell weight for squats by 5 pounds. It's amazing how even a small increase like that and your body feels it. It did feel good so I plan to continue to increase the time or sets that I'm doing this heavier weight until I can do everything with this weight. I'm also proud of myself for the work I did in the triceps segment. For some reason my triceps seem to fry early in this workout and I have to lower weight for the overhead tricep presses to 8#. Today I could do the whole last segment with the 10# and felt I could have done more. Woo Hoo!

Lots of stuff to do around the house and I'm trying to finish my Christmas shopping this weekend. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Take care,

Gald your headache is gone Sabine!!!! I had a terrible eating day yuesterday, and today is no better. I am back on track tomorrow. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Glad you're better Sabine!
Lori, I'm also having a less than perfect eating day. Tomorrow is another day and I'll start again.

Today was my off day- trying to get things done around the house...
have a good weekend!!

I am really considering starting the BFL way of eating tomorrow. It seems to me it would make it much easier to eat during the holidays with the "Free Day." I don't know, I really have to think about it, but I will decide by tomorrow.

Any advice anyone??

Hi everyone,

Did the 40 minute walk/run routine on the TM saturday. Sunday is my rest day. The eating still isn't totally under control. Seems like the weekends are the hardest for me.

I was thinking about starting WW after the first of the year. Still debating it since I would have to spend the $100 for the home version.

Lori - BFL is a good way to go. I have done it several times but for some reason after about a month I go bad again. Maybe I should start doing it again or at least cutting down on the carb intake.

Even though it's Sunday, I thought I'd check in here and this will be the thread for the weekend.

Today I did Mindy Mylrea's Extreme Intervals and Pump Party (just the intervals, though). This was my first Mindy tape and I really like it. And man, the intervals seem to go on FOREVER!!!!! There must be something like 15-20 intervals in the cardio portion. Granted, some of them are only 30-40 seconds long, but this was one tough workout. I don't have either of the Imaxes yet so I imagine this is good training to get prepared for them. Needless to say, I was drenched by the end of the workout and my face is probably just now returning to normal coloring after being really flushed at times.

My plan for next week is something like this...
Monday- Firm BSS1 Cardio Sculpt
Tuesday- CIA 2K01 Hi/Lo
Wednesday- CIA 2K01 Step and Kickbox
Thursday- off
Friday- MIS
Saturday- some sort of cardio, probably floor aerobics or hi/lo
Sunday- Muscle Endurance or I'll try the Pump Party section from Mindy's tape.

I'm with everyone else in that I'm struggling with my eating this month. While I'm not throwing in the towel completely and making December an eating free for all, I am going relax a little bit and enjoy the season. I know that I can go back to eating cleaner once all the temptation is behind me. I think the fact that I am ending the year with this great check in and am doing so well maintaining my exercise schedule helps balance the food transgressions I'm having from time to time.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday.
